RESUMOO estágio clínico constitui um importante elemento da formação acadêmica do aluno de Psicologia para o futuro exercício da profissão. Conhecer a experiência do estudante neste processo e sua relação com a supervisão é relevante para compreender sua formação. O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender as experiências de acadêmicos de Psicologia sobre o estágio clínico em dois Serviços-Escola de Psicologia do Sul do país. Participaram desta pesquisa 14 estagiários, sendo sete de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior pública e sete de uma privada. O instrumento utilizado foi um questionário semiestruturado de autoaplicação individual. Para a análise de dados foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo. Os resultados mostraram que a experiência do estágio clínico representava um desafio e era marcada pelo sentimento de insegurança, especialmente nos primeiros atendimentos. O relato dos participantes revelou ainda dificuldades para estabelecer vínculo com o usuário, conduzir a sessão e intervir. Neste cenário, a supervisão foi destacada como fator fundamental na preparação e no suporte aos estagiários para o atendimento clínico. Os dados levantados são importantes para pensar a formação em Psicologia, especialmente no que se refere à preparação do aluno para uma futura atuação profissional no contexto da clínica. ABSTRACTClinical training constitutes an important element in the educational development of the psychology student for the future practice of the profession. Knowing the experience of the student in this process and their relationship with superivision is relevant to comprehending their education. The objective of this study was to understand the experiences of Psychology students with respect to their clinical training in two Pyschology Service schools in Southern Brazil. 14 students/trainees participated in this study with 7 being from a public institution of higher education and 7 from a private one. The instrument used was an individual self-applied semistructured questionnaire. Content analysis was used for the data analysis. The results showed that the clinical training experience represented a challenge and was marked by a feeling of insecurity, especially in the first consultations. The participants' report also revealed difficulties in establishing a bond with the user, conducting the session, and intervening. In this
