N RECENT years, nanotechnology (NT) has shown to be a multidisciplinary study area, increasing its range of applications in several spheres of human activity. Advancements in nanotechnology have been made in textile materials as a result of the quest for enhanced multifunctionality in engineering, industrial, technical, and medical textiles. Textile materials now have several uses thanks to the integration of cutting-edge technologies including photonic crystals, plasmonics, luminescence, architectural colorants, holography, LED displays, and metamaterials. The physicochemical behaviors of textiles, such as self-cleaning, UV protection, flame resistance, and antibacterial capabilities, have been enhanced by textile nanotechnology innovations such as nanoparticles (NPs) and sensor integration into textile materials. It is appropriate for use in health, medical, sporting, advanced engineering, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, military, automobile, food, and agricultural industries, among others since it offers flexible sensing capabilities, robotics, electrical conductivity, flexibility, and comfort. Metallic fibers that have been injected with nanoparticles, such as copper and silver NPs, have demonstrated antiviral and antibacterial activities. The purpose of this study is to give an overview of the uses of nanotechnology in several sports-related sectors, with a special emphasis on sports-related flooring, apparel, and footwear. Sport has been injected with several important factors. In-depth research is also done on garments made using nanotechnology. According to current trends, all types of sportswear will soon be impacted by the nanotechnology revolution.

T HE ENVIRONMENTAL aspects of manufacturing are gaining more attention in today's world, especially in the textile industry. However, converting industry to green technology is a critical necessity in the present day to protect our environment from the poisonous effects of industrial effluents; thus, it will be a significant beneficial contribution to safe and healthy living on the planet. Using natural polymers with a variety of desirable characteristics such as biocompatibility, biodegradability, low toxicity, and high biological activity is gaining popularity year after year. Until now, a variety of synthetic chemical compounds have been used to functionalize textiles, that are harmful to humans and aquatic ecosystems and are difficult to degrade. Natural materials, on the other hand, match the current need for industrial applications due to their never-ending sources and advantages over synthetic products. In this study, natural cationic biopolymers such as chitosan, and amino-cellulose have been used to help in increasing dye absorption while improving fabric performance characteristics such as antimicrobial function. The optimum dyeing conditions were (polymer concentration, 2 %;75°C; 45 min.; L: R 1:50) with pH 6 for wool, 4 for acrylic and 8 for cotton fabric using two different dyes natures (basic and natural (moringa extract).

n the last three decades, denim has been the most preferred material for dresses. Denim has waded into the acceptance of children, women, and men, from special wear to everyday wear. The current fashion shows that consumers are interested in wearing denim and believe it to be a comfortable material for clothing. In the 1980s, when denim was first introduced to the market, an effort was made to create cotton denim-style clothing using just 100% polyester threads. Denim is currently one of the most popular cotton dress fabrics, but in the future, blends may play a bigger part in denim.
