The dynamics study of the preserved forest of Mekrou was discussed. The methodology used includes documentary research, Phytosociological surveys, diachronic analysis of satellite imagery, socio-economic surveys of different social and professional groups and the analysis and interpretation of data. It is obvious that in the area of the study, agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry and the use of medicinal plants are the main forms of natural resources exploitation. This operation, with population growth leads to a regressive evolution of plants and natural landscapes in favor of agricultural fields and fallow. The area of natural vegetation increased from 70, 53% in 1992 to 39,33% in 2012 in favor fields and fallow land increased from 17, 88% to 48, 77% in 2012. The numerical classification based on the presence-absence of vegetation species allowed us to individualize 6 vegetal communities. The Anogeissus leiocarpus, Khaya senegalensis and gallery forests group is the most diversified and most concentrated while Parkia biglobosa, Vitellaria paradoxa Field group is less diversified and less dense. The impact of soil occupation dynamics has resulted in the fragmentation of natural formations and reducing species diversity and density of ligneous.
This work aims to study the dynamics of livestock markets and the structuring of their space in Benin and in the West African sub-region, through a systematic literature review. To obtain documents from reliable sources, the “SCOPUS” search engine was used to identify works related to the subject of study. The objective of this preliminary work is to see the directory or the dynamics of publications in terms of years, authors, fields concerned, types of work. The database obtained made it possible to carry out a systematic, factual and thematic analysis of the data. A total of 623 publications were loaded with 16 publications directly related to the study theme, after reading the summaries. We note in the analysis of the data that, from 2000 to 2022, the number of publications experienced a large peak. The scientific fields with more publications are social sciences with 36.8%, agricultural sciences with 12.4%, environmental sciences with 10.1% of publications and human sciences with 14.2%. The most published document types are articles (63.4%), books (22.00%), journals (7.3%) and book chapters (6.6%). In short, the current level of research on the "dynamics of livestock markets and their structuring in space in Benin" remains to be performed. In view of the documents studied, it is important: to deepen research on livestock markets, to take an interest in the pioneering role, field of experimentation, extension and professionalism played by these markets, to understand their dynamism and especially their structure.
