Indonesia is a maritime country that is located on 3 plates of the world or commonly called the Ring of Fire which causes frequent earthquakes. The earthquake is the biggest threat faced by the potential of the tsunami in it which can cause damage and even cause casualties. Data mining can explore pre-existing earthquake data and draw a pattern or conclusion from a database. The Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithm is part of the data mining classification technique that is used to estimate or predict the chances of a possibility occurring. Based on the results and discussion, conclusions can be drawn by applying the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithm on earthquake data to potential tsunamis in Indonesia to find out the possible effects of earthquakes. With the testing data used the effect produced is the Potential Tsunami.
Abstract Covid-19 is a disease that attacks the human respiratory system and can be transmitted easily. North Sumatra is one of the areas hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the Task Force for the Acceleration and Handling of Covid-19, the province of North Sumatra has made various efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19, such as studying and worship at home, appealing to wear masks and so on. To make it easier to identify the spread of Covid-19, the Cluster Team divides the Covid-19 spread zones based on the number of positive cases. zoning by using one variable, namely positive, causes the handling of Covid-19 to be not optimal because it is only concentrated in the zone with the most positive cases, while the potential for spread is not only from positive cases. Therefore, another technique is needed to group / cluster the Covid-19 spread zones. One technique that is suitable for grouping / clustering is the K-Medoids clustering algorithm. The results of the implementation of the K-Medoids Algorithm algorithm, namely the Covid-19 spread zone cluster in North Sumatra is divided into 3 (three) clusters, namely cluster 1, cluster 2 and cluster 3. Cluster 1 is identical to the red zone, Cluster 2 is identical to the yellow zone and cluster 3 is identical to the green zone
The success of a university is not only seen from the role of Educators (Lecturers) but also the role of Education Personnel (TENDIK). Educational Personnel (TENDIK) includes Administrative Personnel in universities. Work performance is the main factor of the success of higher education performance. The results of good work given will have a good impact on universities. TENDIK who excels are also competent in higher education and contributes to the joint progress of both TENDIK and universities. Apart from lecturers, TENDIK is also an asset owned by universities. Rewards or awards given to TENDIK can be done by assessing the performance results of each TENDIK. The reward given to TENDIK is a form of appreciation for the performance carried out at the university. Giving rewards to TENDIK must be based on a proper and accurate performance assessment. The problem is that there is no definite reference used to evaluate the performance of TENDIK in giving rewards. The performance assessment carried out must be objective, of course, with an objective assessment the results obtained from the TENDIK performance assessment will not be a problem for other TENDIK. Decision Support System is a computer-based information system that is used to assist in decision making by utilizing certain data and models to support a solution in solving a semi-structured and non-structured problem. SMARTER is one of the methods in the Decision Support System that provides recommendations to decision makers based on relevant criteria, which in determining the criteria and sub-criteria and their weight values use ROC (Rank Order Centroid). Of the several criteria used for the selection process using the alternative SMARTER method with the name A4 with a final utility value of 64.25%
Some image files are very large in size. So it requires a large memory storage capacity too, this is certainly a lot of costs that must be spent on the storage media. With the existence of a very large image file size in the process of sending image data files can fail because the storage media exceeds the maximum limit. The above problems can be overcome by performing the process of compressing large image files into small sizes or can reduce the bit size contained in each image file thereby saving storage containers and simplifying the process of transferring image files to other storage media. The solution to this problem is how the image file can be compressed in order to speed up the transfer and storage of image files. Image file compression aims to reduce or reduce the size of the file but does not eliminate the information data in it. With the compression technique, the data was initially large so that the size of the data can be reduced so as to save storage allocation space. In this study using the Even-Rodeh Code algorithm, using the method results in very good compression in tramisi data and transfer of image file allocation easier and faster. Keywords: Image File Compression, Event Rode Code Algorithm
Higher education in Indonesia has several programs to help reduce the burden on students, one of which is through a scholarship program. Scholarships given can be obtained with the terms and conditions that apply at each university. Mitra Gama Institute of Technology is one of the private universities in the province of Riau which always runs a scholarship aid program. The problem that has been happening so far is that the procedures carried out are still using a document checking system without involving a weighting system and the right criteria and time constraints have always been an obstacle in determining scholarship recipients. This research was conducted as a solution to create an innovation in the form of making a computerized decision support system using criteria and weight values so that scholarship recipients are on target. Composite performance index is the method used in this study. The purpose of this research is to create a decision support system for the selection of scholarship recipients to be more systematic and time efficient in the process. There are 5 alternatives used and 4 criteria, namely parents' income, GPA, electricity consumption and semester. The results of the research carried out were obtained the 5 highest composite index values, namely MHS4 with a value of 200.00, MHS1 with a value of 134.14, MHS5 with a value of 120.00, MHS3 with a value of 87.00 and MHS2 with a value of 85.71.
