Polymer epoxy resin is widely used in coatings and adhesives because of its excellent mechanical properties, adhesive properties, resistance to water and resistance to chemicals. In this paper, the research development status of the epoxy resin coating in building waterproof is reviewed. The preparation, performance measurement and application of epoxy resin waterproof coating are introduced, and the development trend of building waterproof coating is forecasted.
The adsorption of CO2 on a non-woven fabric with activated carbon before and after dipping treatment has been studied. It has been found that dipping treatment with Na2CO3 and KOH can improve the adsorption of CO2 on the non-woven fabric. KOH is a better dipping agent than Na2CO3. High temperature is beneficial to the adsorption of CO2 on the fabric dipped with KOH. With increasing relative humidity, the adsorption efficiency is decreased for both original fabric and that dipped with KOH. Increasing adsorption layer number can improve adsorption efficiency. However, when the number of adsorption layers exceeds 3 the increased amplitude of adsorption efficiency is obviously reduced, while the pressure loss of the system is remarkably increased.
Due to its influence on iron corrosion and involvement in dechlorination reaction, the concentration of H+ is crucial to the reactivity and efficiency of nanosized Pd /Fe. In this study, PCP dechlorination by smectite-templated Pd/Fe was studied and the effect of pH on PCP dechlorination was investigated in detail. The reaction rate constant is critically dependant on the reaction pH over the range 6.0~10.0. The dechlorination rate increases rapidly with decreasing the reaction pH value when the pH is 6.0~8.0. The rate change is up to 3.346 folds with decreasing of per pH unit while it decreases down to 0.3338 when pH is in the range 8.0~10.0. The reductive efficiency of zero-valent iron (ZVI) was further investigated by spiking excess PCP in the reaction system. The maximal reaction efficiency of ZVI for PCP dechlorination attains to 78% when pH is 9.0. The difference between the dechlorination rate and reductive efficiency with respect to reaction pH suggest that ZVI could not be effectively utilized to reduce PCP under acidic condition.
Effect of the dosage of flocculants on sludge dewatering is analyzed through the determination of sludge specific resistance to filtration. Sludge dewatering behaviors conditioned on Polymeric aluminum, PAM, fly ash and composite flocculants have been compared. The results show all the conditioning agent have help to sludge dewatering. Fly ash from electric power plant as conditioning agent can greatly reduce the specific resistance of sludge and the dewatering performance can be improved. The optimal dosage of fine powdered coal is 20g/100mL and coarse powdered coal is 30g/100mL.Powdered coal is mixed with sludge to form filter cake which is blended with coal in certain proportion to make into fuel.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
