UNSTRUCTURED While literature has analyzed the accuracy and usage of online resources pertaining to vitiligo, little is known about the perception of online resources from people that have been diagnosed with vitiligo. Our study sought to understand both the demographic of users that utilize online vitiligo resources as well as how these resources impact their lifestyle and management of vitiligo. We partnered with MyHealthTeam to distribute a 15 question survey to forum users. There were 95 total responses from participants that were primarily white and female with a mean age of 60 years. The participants reported that the online resources impacted their treatment decisions and ability to cope with their disease, with 75% of participants indicating that they felt supported by using online resources.
