O objetivo deste artigo é apontar interrelações entre a escrita, a oralidade e a cultura em contos das obras Cuentos completos I e II (2014), de Josefina Plá, e Maridos (2009), de Ángeles Mastretta. As duas escritoras, em suas obras, buscam interpretar a diversidade latino-americana e, partindo do nacional, atingem o universal, pela incorporação de elementos que caracterizam os seus países de origem, tais como gírias, línguas específicas de determinados povoados (yopará e mixteco), objetos relacionados a uma determinada nação, gêneros/grupos musicais que caracterizam uma região/país (mariachis) no enredo de suas produções ficcionais. Como suporte teórico utilizamos as obras de Édouard Glissant (2005), Antonio Candido (2006), Rubén Bareiro Saguier. (2000), dentre outros. Em suma, as narrativas de Plá e Mastretta representam uma linguagem multimodal mesclando o oral e o escrito, revelando as identidades e particularidades do contexto cultural paraguaio e mexicano através do processo comunicativo que é a escrita.
RESUMO:Neste artigo, objetivamos estudar alguns aspectos da sociedade colonial brasileira e serão apontadas apenas algumas das características históricas e culturais do legado da colonização referente à literatura, tais como a cultura do favor e a dependência cultural europeia. Como suporte teórico, utilizamos as obras e estudos de Antonio Candido (2006), Roberto Schwarz (1992) e Mikhail Bakhtin (1989, 2006, 2014). Faremos um comentário do capítulo XX de Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas de Machado de Assis (1994), seguido da análise do conto o conto "Atravessando o psicossamba da loura fake" de Henrique Pimenta (2016), enfatizando questões do favor e dependências contidas nessas narrativas. Em síntese, observamos que as questões apresentadas perpetuam-se em obras do século XXI, revelando que traços do Brasil colônia mantêm-se na ficção brasileira contemporânea.
