ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Propylen wurde mit verschiedenen ZIEGLER-NATTA-KatalySatOren zu h e a r e n oder verzweigten oligomeren Polypropylenen mit Zahlenmitteln des Molekulargewichtes zwischen 500 und 10000, Kopf/Schwanz-Verknupfungen zwischen 8,7 und 100 yo sowie Gehalten an isotaktischen Diaden zwischen 0 und 93,5 Yo polymerisiert. Die Oligomeren wurden in ihre aceton-, methanol-, ather-und heptanloslichen Fraktionen aufgeteilt. Das verzweigte Polypropylen und die Polypropylene mit 74,5 und 78% an isotaktischen Diaden assoziieren nach dampfdruckosmotischen Messungen weder in Benzol noch in Tetrachlorkohlenstoff. Das hochisotaktische Produkt (mit 93,s o/ o an isotaktischen Diaden) zeigt bei 37 O C eine Assoziation in Benzol. Das praktisch 100 yo syndiotaktische Polymere assoziiert nicht in Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, wohl aber bei Temperaturen unter ca. 74OC in Benzol. Die mit steigender Temperatur abnehmende Tendenz zur Assoziation wird nach infrarotspektroskopischen Messungen von einer Abnahme des Helixgehaltes des Polymeren in benzolischen Losungen begleitet.
SUMMARY:Propylene has been polymerized using different ZIEGLER-NATTA catalysts to give linear or branched oligomeric polypropylenes exhibiting number average molecular weights between 500 and 10000, head-to-tail contents of monomer units between 8.7 and l O O~& and mole fractions of isotactic dyads between 0 and 93.5 yo.
