This study aims to determine changes in local wisdom of Mapalus Tani in Rurukan Satu Subdistrict, East Tomohon District. This research was conducted from February 2019 to April 2019. This research was obtained through in-depth interviews with several sources, informants / respondents using interview guides and being interviewed directly. The sampling method was carried out by snowball. The results showed that there had been changes in the values, norms and organizational structure of Mapalus Tani as stated by all the informants, informants / respondents interviewed while on the equipment some respondents said there had been no changes. Among other values, there are changes where there are no longer customs such as ma'tambor, pontuong, rituals before leaving for the garden, as well as changes in habits when going to the garden. In the norm, among others, there was a change where there was no longer a rule for labor to change energy but changing energy could be replaced by money. I doubt too is no longer as strict as it used to be. The organizational structure of Mapalus Tani changed, among others, the leader of the Mapalus Tani was no longer a tumutuuz who became the leader of the customs and rituals in Mapalus Tani. There was also a change in the equipment where the rope commonly used in Mapalus Tani, which is usually made of forest ropes that spread across the trees, was replaced with plastic ropes. Nevertheless Mapalus Tani still exists and exists and carries out Mapalus activities despite the various changes that have occurred. People who are members of Mapalus Tani are assisted in overcoming / reducing the burden of financing their land management.
This study aims to determine the factors that influence farmers' decisions in planting sweet corn and local corn in Tolombukan Satu Village, Pasan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. Data collection was carried out for two months, from May to June 2019. The collected data was compiled quantitatively and displayed in tabular form. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from interviews and with the help of questionnaires for the leader (chair, secretary, and treasurer) and all members of the Nafiri Jaya Farmer Group amounted to 20 people. Secondary data obtained from local book store, the internet through Google Scholar to get articles and theses from other universities related to research topics on factors that influence farmers' decisions. The results showed that the factors influencing the decision of farmers to plant sweet corn and local corn were social factors and economic factors. Social factors consist of age, level of education, experience in farming and the role of agricultural extension workers. Economic factors consist of the number of dependents in the family, land area, facilities and infrastructure, income, expenses and selling price.*eprm*
The purpose of this study are to know about strategys to development tourism object Danau Linouw to increasing local revenue of Tomohon City. This study use descriptive qualitative method. The sampling technique is taken based on the consideration that the existing population is not known exactly in number so using accidental sampling. The variables in this study consisted of the development of tourist attraction and the increase of local revenue (PAD). Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observation, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis techniques use SWOT analysis and development strategy. The result of the research shows that the development strategy of Lake Linouw Tourism Object in increasing Tomohon District Revenue (PAD) based on SWOT analysis has been done, located in Quadrant I position or strategy through Horizontal Integration, which is located between external opportunity and internal strength. This is a major strategy for developing tourism by maintaining strength and optimizing opportunities while improving weaknesses and anticipating existing threats in an effort to increase the number of tourist arrivals that can increase local revenue (PAD) of Tomohon City. To increase the original revenue of Tomohon City, it is hoped that the Government and Private sector, especially Lake Linouw Tourism Manager, need to plan a marketing strategy so that tourists who visit will continue to grow. Improving facilities and infrastructure related to access road to Lake Linouw attraction which is considered less extensive to be passed by visitors who use motor vehicles.
This study aims to examine the profile of tempe making business at CV Cipta Panca Persada. The business profile is limited to obtaine of the amount of profits. This research was conducted for 3 monthsstarting from May to July 2018. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from direct interviews with business owners (one respodent) using a list of questions that have been provided. While secondary data is obtained from the Agriculture Faculty library, the internet by using a google search engine to access articles from various scientific journals and theses from other universities related to this research topic concerning business profile. The results showed that the amount of tempe produced in one day was 50 packs of small packs at a price of Rp. 3,500 per package and 200 medium packages at Rp. 6,500 per package. The production process is one month (31 days) in July 2018, obtaining a total revenue of Rp. 39,000,000 with a total cost of Rp. 16,775,714,resulting in a profit of Rp. 22,224,286. -*eprm*
This study aims to: calculate the amount of rice consumption per capita per year of rice farmers; to increase knowledge about when lowland rice farmers experience a shortage of rice and cannot afford rice because there is no purchasing power what they do to overcome it?; to measure the level of food security and the ratio of fear to the families of lowland rice farmers. This research was conducted from July to November 2018 in Mopait Village and Pangian Village. which is one of the rice-producing villages in Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi. This research used quantitative and qualitative data collection methods concerning the production, fulfillment of rice consumption and the sale and purchase of rice at the level of the rice paddy farmer family. Interviews were conducted with farmers and village leaders as primary data sources. While the secondary data sources came from the Central Sulawesi Statistics and Agriculture Office of North Sulawesi. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis approaches. Quantitative and Qualitative Modeling of Food Security Lines and Farmer Fear Ratio. By using this Food Resilience Line Model, it will be known whether the Family Food Security of Paddy Farmers is strong or weak. Calculation of Farmer's Fear Ratio to find out whether farmers are pessimistic or optimistic about fulfilling rice consumption needs. The results showed that the amount of rice consumption per capita per year for paddy rice farmers, in Mopait Village rice consumption was 121 rice per capita per year. Whereas rice farmers in Pangian Village consume rice with 185 kg of rice per capita per year. At a time when lowland rice farmers lack rice and cannot afford to buy it at the market, they will borrow rice from the mill. The line of food security in the two research villages shows different figures in Mopait Village >1 while in Pangian Village <1. This means that the level of food security in paddy rice farming families in Mopait Village is higher than Pangian Village. While the paddy rice farmers in Mopait Village this year felt less fear compared to 5 years ago but for the next 5 years they remain more pessimistic than this year. Rice farmers in Pangian are more optimistic.
