Seit Zadehs Einführung des Konzepts unscharfer Mengen Mitte der 60er Jahre wurde eine schier unüberschaubare Menge theoretischer Beiträge zur Fuzzy-Mengentheorie veröffentlicht. Ein Großteil dieser Beiträge ist der Untersuchung (zum Teil sehr spezieller) mathematischer Fragestellungen gewidmet und der Grundlagentheorie zuzuordnen. Parallel dazu wurde immer wieder versucht, die im Rahmen der Fuzzy-Mengentheorie entwickelten Konzepte und Formalismen für Computerapplikationen nutzbar zu machen. Zu diesem Zweck wurden spezielle Programmiersprachen implementiert, sogenannte Fuzzy-Programmiersprachen. 1973 wurde der erste Entwurf einer Fuzzy-Programmiersprache, Fuzzy-PLANNER genannt, veröffentlicht. Er sah eine Erweiterung der seinerzeit in der Kl hoch im Kurs stehenden Programmiersprache PLANNER vor. Eng verwandt mit beiden ist die erste implementierte Fuzzy-Programmiersprache -Fuzzy. Ihre erste Version datiert aus dem Jahr 1974. Seitdem wurden nicht nur neue Konzepte und Methoden zur Verarbeitung unscharfer Mengen, sondern auch neue Programmierkonzepte und Programmiermethoden entwickelt. In der Implementierung neuer Fuzzy-Programmiersprachen reflektieren sich Weiterentwicklungen beider Gebiete. Um eine Grundlage für die Beurteilung dieser Sprachen zu schaffen, beginnt dieses Kapitel mit einer Beschreibung des Merkmalraums und einer Diskussion relevanter Beurteilungskriterien für Fuzzy-Programmiersprachen (Kapi-B. Biewer, Fuzzy-Methoden © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 1997 14.1 Merkmalraum und Darstellungsaspekte 1l;{!"'>,~J: _ _ :r._ KAPITEL 14 493toren" genannt werden und Qualitäten, die in der Nutzung oder im Handel mit Software erfahrbar seien und von ihm "äußere Faktoren" genannt werden [Meyer 1990, 2]. " Korrektheit", " Robustheit", " Erweiterbarkeit", "Wiederverwendbarkeit" und " Kompatibilität" gelten Meyer als "Schlüsselqualitäten", da sich in ihnen "die ernstesten Probleme mit der heutigen Praxis der Softwareentwicklung" widerspiegelten [Meyer 1990,9]. Zu den "äußeren Faktoren" zählt er neben diesen "Schlüsselqualitäten" die Qualitäten " Effizienz", "Portabilität", " Verifizierbarkeit", "Integrität" und "Benutzerfreundlichkeit" [Meyer 1990, 6]. Aufgrund der genannten Doppelbeziehung von Programmiersprachen zu Software können bei der Beurteilung von Programmiersprachen einige dieser "Faktoren" zweifach in Rechnung gestellt werden: so kann ein Compiler sowohl nach der Effizienz der Kompilation wie der Effizienz des kompilierten Programms beurteilt werden. Vorrangig fließen diese allgemeinen Software-Kriterien jedoch als Zielkriterien in die Beurteilung ein. Das heißt, es wird gefragt, inwiefern eine Programmiersprache geeignet ist, Programme zu entwik-keIn, die korrekt, robust, erweiterbar, wiederverwendbar, effizient, portabel und verifizierbar sind.Zu beachten ist, daß die Anforderungen oft widersprüchlich, Kompromisse unvermeidlich sind. Ansätze der Modellierung linguistischer HeckenGrundlegendes Anliegen der Theorie unscharfer Mengen ist es, Formalismen zur Modellierung unscharfer Kategorien zu entwickeln, wie sie in der "natürlichen" Sprache vorkommen. Bezüge zu "natürlichsprachlichen" Phänomenen und zur Linguistik sind derart in die Grundlegung der Fuzzy-Mengentheorie eingeschrieben. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist es naheliegend, ergänzend zu den üblicherweise in den formalen Wissenschaften verwandten mengenalgebraischen, logischen, relationalen und arithmetischen Operatoren (Kapitel 3 bis 5) weitere Operatoren zu untersuchen, die für die "natürliche Sprache" charakteristisch sind und daher als linguistische Operatoren bezeichnet werden. Solche linguistischen Operatoren wurden Anfang der 70er Jahre von Zadeh und Lakoff in die Fuzzy-Mengentheorie unter dem Namen "linguistische Hecke" eingeführt [Zadeh 1972a, Lakoff 1975. In Fuzzy-Systemen werden am häufigsten die Hecken "very" (sehr) und "more or less" (mehr oder weniger) verwandt. Zadehs Vorschläge zur Modellierung dieser und weiterer linguistischer Hecken werden im Anschluß an eine informelle Begriffserläuterung (Kapitel 6.1) dargestellt. Neben syntaktischen und semantischen Anwendungsrestriktionen werden dabei auch kommunikative Funktionen linguistischer Hecken in natürlichen und formalen Sprachen erörtert. Zadehs Modellierungsvorschläge gründen auf der Idee, linguistische Hecken als Operatoren aufzufassen, die unscharfe Mengen modifizieren (Kapitel 6.2). Er unterscheidet zwischen Hecken, deren Wir-B. Biewer, Fuzzy-Methoden © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 1997 Ansätze der Modellierung linguistischer Hecken 190 KAPITEL 6 kungen direkt über die Änderung der Zugehörigkeits funktion einer Fuzzy-Menge beschreibbar sind (Kapitel 6.3), sogenannte Hecken vom Typ I, und Hecken vom Typ H, die sich in unterschiedlicher Weise auf die Bedeutungskomponenten komplexer Fuzzy-Mengen auswirken (Kapitel 6.4). In der Praxis beschränkt man sich -sofern linguistische Hecken überhaupt benutzt werden -meist auf Hecken vom Typ I. Es gibt nur wenige weiterführende Arbeiten zu diesem Thema. Hersh und Caramazza [1976] haben die semantischen Effekte linguistischer Hecken in kognitionspsychologischen Experimenten zu bestimmten versucht. Vor dem Hintergrund ihrer Ergebnisse hat Yager [1982] Zadehs Vorschläge reinterpretiert. Mizumoto und Zimmermann [1982] sowie Ezawa und Mizumoto [1984] haben linguistische Hecken der Untersuchung approximativer Inferenzregeln zugrunde gelegt. Bouchon-Meunier [1992] hat Ansätze entwickelt, linguistische Hecken zur Auswertung und Kompilation einfacher Kontrollregeln zu nutzen. Von No vak [1989, 111-115] wurde in Ergänzung und kritischer Weiterentwicklung der Zadehschen Grundideen ein Satz linguistischer Modifikatoren definiert, für die die Definition linguistischer Modifikationen über ein Funktionenpaar sowie die Unterscheidung positiver, negativer und nullwertiger Syntagmen grundlegend sind.
