A number of biocompatible rods were coated with calcium phosphate and TiO2 using PP‐MOCVD with one end heated to 600 °C. Films of both materials coated the length of the 3‐D rod shape. The Ca:P material had an interesting spherical morphology as observed by SEM, had a Ca:P ratio in the range for hydroxyapitite as measured by EDS, and exhibited no crystalline peaks in XRD analysis.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
