Zinc sulfide photocatalysts doped with chromium (1:1)% were synthesized via precipitation technique. Their characteristics were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), AFM and Florescence spectrometer. The photocatalytic reaction was applied under light intensity equal to 1.45 × 10 −7 Einstein mol-1 to investigate the kinetics and thermodynamic parameters for photo-decolorization of reactive black 5 dye in collide solution of bare and Cr-doped ZnS. The mean crystal size and particle size for bare ZnS are more than those values for prepared Cr loaded ZnS.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
