No estado do Pará, ele ocorre no Hospital Geral Penitenciário. Loucura. Periculosidade. Medida de segurança. The history of judicial asylums has numerous records of abuse and violations of inmates' rights, who, dehumanized, were neglected, and socially excluded. The psychiatric reform, formalized by the Law No. 10,216/2001, was a milestone in changing this model with the legal provision of extinction of spaces like these. However, the desired changes did not reach people with mental disorders who had a conflict with the law. Branded as dangerous, because they are considered not only crazy but criminals, their only destination would remain these total institutions. To these people a security measure is implemented in ambulatory treatment or hospitalization modalities. Isolation via hospitalization occurs in these judicial asylums. In the state of Pará, it occurs at the Penitentiary General Hospital. This work aimed to know women in this context through an ethnography in documents, processes, psychiatric and psychosocial reports. When we analyze the social gender marker in these prison-hospitals, we find that the confinement of women regarded as dangerous has a moral evaluation in the background. In this sense, there is a potentialized marginalization that falls on them beforehand. Doubly stigmatized, crazy and criminal, they are often forgotten and silenced. Gender. Madness. Dangerousness. Security measure.
