183W chemical shifts of [WIII2Cl9]3−, [WIV3(O)4,(NCS)9]5−, [MIV3(O)2(CH3COO)6(H2O)3]2+ (M3 = Mo3, Mo2W, MoW2, and W3), and [MV2(O)4(edta)]2− (M = Mo and W) show clear trends that the shielding at W atom increases, with an increase in the oxidation state, and upon replacement of W with Mo in a series of the mixed-metal(IV) complexes.
A mixed metal tetranuclear complex with two MoVI(μ-SMe)3RhIII groups, [{Cp*Rh(μ-SMe)3Mo(O)2}2(μ-O)] has been obtained from the reaction of the triple-cubane type oxide cluster [(Cp*Rh)4Mo4O16] with MeSH. The complex has been characterized by X-ray analysis and variable-temperature 1H NMR spectroscopy. The latter has revealed that the complex exists as a mixture of isomers which show interconversion due to the inversion at the pyramidal sulfur center.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
