Penciptaan karya tugas akhir ini mengangkat tema bilah keris dhapur bethok dan mitologi kalpataru. Penciptaan karya ini berdasar pada nilai-nilai kehidupan yang terkandung dalam bilah keris dhapur bethok dan mitologi kalpataru.Bilah keris dhapur bethok mengandung nilai falsafah hidup yaitu kesederhanaan dan daya hidup yang kuat. Mitologi kalpataru mengandung nilai falsafah hidup yaitu rasa syukur atas anugrah yang dilimpahkan oleh Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Diharapkan penciptaan karya ini dapat menghasilkan karya keris yang mengacu pada nilai-nilai falsafah hidup yang terkandung dalam bilah keris dhapur bethok dan mitologi kalpataru. Metode penciptaan karya dalam tugas akhir ini melakukan tiga tahap yaitu :tahap eksplorasi yang mencakup observasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara, tahap perancangan yang meliputi sketsa dan desain, tahap perwujudan yang meliputi : tahap persiapan alat dan bahan, penempaan, pembentukan ricikan, pembentukan motif, pembuatan methuk, nyangling, ngamal, ngemasi, warangan, pembuatan prabot, dan tahap pemasangan bilah keris dan prabot keris.Penciptaan karya ini menghasilkan tiga keris berjudul : Keris Dhapur Bethok Kalpataru Tri Hita Karana, Keris Dhapur Bethok Kalpataru Panca Satya dan Keris Dhapur Bethok Kalpataru Sad Ripu.Kata kunci :keris dhapur bethok, mitologi kalpataru
ABSTRAC Banana leaves are part of a banana tree that can be used as a decorative material in various religious activities, as well as being used as food wrappers. Banana leaves have a body structure consisting of wide and long leaves, fibrous leaf bones with compact leaf edges. Banana leaf was chosen as the idea of creating a final project which was visualized into the work of the Dhapur Tombak. It was hoped that it could give beauty value to each of its blades. The results are interpreted as the human life cycle. The method of creating the uses is the criteria for evaluating the keris bar formulated in the book “Javanese Keris between Mystic and Reason†by Haryono Haryoguritno, namely the criteria of physical, emotional criteria, and spiritual criteria. The results are three blades named Dhapur Tombak Godong Gedang Pupus, Dhapur Tombak Godong Gedang, Dhapur Tombak Godong Gedang Klara.KeyWords : Banana leaves, dhapur tombak.ABSTRAK Daun pisang adalah bagian dari pohon pisang yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dekoratif pada berbagai kegiatan keagamaan, serta digunakan sebagai pembungkus makanan. Daun pisang memiliki struktur tubuh yang terdiri dari daun yang lebar dan panjang, tulang daun yang berserat dengan bagian tepi daun yang kompak. Daun pisang dipilih sebagai ide penciptaan karya tugas akhir yang divisualkan menjadi karya Dhapur Tombak diharapkan dapat memberi nilai keindahan pada setiap bilahnya. Hasilnya dimaknai sebagai siklus hidup manusia. Metode penciptaan yang menggunakan adalah kriteria penilaian bilah keris yang dirumuskan pada buku “Keris Jawa antara Mistik dan Nalar†oleh Haryono Haryoguritno, yaitu kriteria lahiriah, kriteria emosional, dan kriteria spiritual. Hasilnya adalah tiga bilah yang diberi nama DhapurTombak Godong Gedang Pupus, Dhapur Tombak Godong Gedang, Dhapur Tombak Godong Gedang Klara.Kata kunci: daun pisang, dhapur tombak.
The story of Arjuna Wiwaha is visualized in the form of metal reliefs using the main material of bullet casings and supported by additional materials. Arjuna Wiwaha story is a story that tells the journey of Arjuna alienated to Cave Indrakila, to undergo tapa brata with the aim of asking for directions and ask the magic weapons to God. Until the crowning of Arjuna became King with the title of King Kariti and married to seven angels for seven days at Heaven.The character in Arjuna Wiwaha’s story on this work is the result of the transformation of the shadow puppet face shape with the Beber puppet, became the new character of the Beber puppet character and focused on the main character. The main materials used in the manufacture of this final project are bullet shell (brass metal), brass plate, copper plate, copper pipe and supported by additional material. Raden Adjeng Kartini, an Indonesian national hero from Jepara, Raden Adjeng Kartini, is an interesting inspiration for keris art. This creation seeks to realize the keris putut’s work with Raden Adjeng Kartini's dhapur as a form of respect and to imitate her character. The putut keris is made using a forging (tempa) technique and the primary ingredients of iron, nickel, and steel. The method of creation used is exploration, design, and embodiment. Meanwhile, the conceptual basis consists of greget, guwaya, and wangun. This creation results in three keris: the Putut Dhapur Emansipasi Raden Adjeng Kartini Keris, the Putut Dhapur Madhurya Raden Adjeng Kartini Keris, and the Putut Dhapur Anggit Raden Adjeng Kartini Keris. Each keris has a meaning related to Raden Adjeng Kartini’s character.
