The occurrence of gallstones in dogs is rare, consisting, usually, in accidental findings. The animals affected present nonspecific clinical signs or even may be asymptomatic. However, depending on the localition of the stone, can occur total obstruction of bile flow and cause rupture of gallbladder or bile ducts.
