N‐Chelatliganden mit seitlichem Chiralitätszentrum, die von optisch aktiven primären Aminen, Aminosäuren und Aminosäurederivaten stammen, katalysieren in Rh‐ und Pt‐Komplexen die enantioselektive Hydrosilylierung von Acetophenon, Benzylmethylketon und tert‐Butylmethylketon mit Diphenyl‐ und 1‐Naphthylphenylsilan. Die Ketone werden dabei in die entsprechenden Silylether übergeführt, deren Hydrolyse die Alkohole 1‐Phenylethanol, 1‐Phenyl‐2‐propanol und 3,3‐Dimethyl‐2‐butanol ergibt. 37 N‐Liganden 1 – 37 mit [Rh(COD)Cl]2 (I) und K[PtCl3(C2H4)] (XX) sowie 21 isolierte Komplexe II – XIX und XXI – XXIII werden getestet. Die besten optischen Induktionen übertreffen die mit den bisher verwendeten optisch aktiven Phosphor‐haltigen Katalysatoren erreichbaren erheblich.
