It was assumed that the sense of the quality of life would reveal a significant relationship with personality-related and axiological dimensions among specialists (the Personality and Axiological Model MOA). It was hypothesized that there would be a positive correlation between independent personality-related variables for the sense of life quality (structure of personality: competence, relations, autonomy, adaptation and professional achievements). The determination coefficient was 0.47, that is, its variance was 47% of the variable sense of life quality being explained in the structural model MOA; by women 48%, by men 39%. In the discussion on the obtained results, emphasis should be put on the significance ascribed by specialists to the following dimensions: adaptation, competence and relations for the quality of life.
This study assessed the effects of gender and gender-role attitudes on vocal affect and teaching success, measured both objectively and subjectively. Subjects were audiotaped as they "taught" confederates about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) over the telephone. The teachers also filled in two gender-role attitude scales. Test subjects listened to taped individual CPR presentations, took a test on CPR, and rated the teaching skill of the speaker. Actual factual accuracy of the presentations was scored, and affect ratings were made of the voices in three conditions: transcript, original speech, and filtered speech. It was found that teaching success as measured by CPR test scores was not related to the gender of the teacher or the confederate or to the teacher's gender-role attitudes. There were, however, significant interactions for female teachers between teacher gender-role attitudes and confederate gender in terms of the test subjects' impressions of the informativeness of and amount learned from the presentations. Female teachers with a more liberal attitude toward women made a better impression when speaking to women than to men, whereas female teachers with a more traditional attitude toward women made a better impression when speaking to men. In addition, women were rated as more dominant, pleasant, and spontaneous relative to men when speaking to the gender they favored attitudinally.

Słowa kluczowebadania podłużne, kompetencje, relacje, autonomia, poczucie sensu życia AbstractThe aim of longitudinal research into personality and axiology is to detect what differences, similarities and changes have occurred in these areas over a period of time. The article examines the character of changes in purpose in life in two generations of Polish actors on the basis of the author's Personality and Axiological Model (MOA). The longitudinal studies and analyses conducted confirmed the influence of variables related to competence, relationships and autonomy (MOA components) on purpose in life spheres (affirmation of life, self-acceptance, goal orientation, sense of freedom, outlook for the future, attitude to death, univariate model). The study produced interesting results in the character and level of similarities and differences between two different generations of actors, which gives insight into the development of a creative person.
