The aim of this study was to weigh and equate peak expiratory flow among 60-to 70-year-old women with community-acquired pneumonia. Pulmonary function needs to be discerned by using peak expiratory flow, an intelligible, non-invasive, accessible, and agile form that serves to analyze the strength and agility of outflow from the lungs. However, it identifies airway narrowing, establishes treatments, and expands measures or actions to do so. The objectives of the research were to analyze the peak cough flow in elderly patients aged 60 to 70 years with community-acquired pneumonia under hospital treatment. The study was based on a bibliographic review performed in books, magazines, theses, monographs, articles in electronic databases. Briefly, he shows about the decrease in respiratory function, this gives the patient certification of the state that finds the disease.
