An active park is indicated by the people activities and supported by the elements of street furniture. Hardware and software elements are the inside parts which play an important role in creating the comfort, wherein supported by the sustainability of the exterior gardens (outside the building) in the tropics play a very important role in the microclimate environment. The phenomenon of the relationship between conservation of ancient areas in the tropics such as Semarang city and the national energy crisis in the last decade is very interesting to be explored. As the development of instructional subject matter of Advance Landscape, Architecture Design and Building Physics in the basic of this research, our research question is: How far is the relationship between the energy profile consumption (lamp lighting) to comfort in the park?Two methods used in the field observation, the measurement of climate aspect to find out the micro climate profile and the distribution of questionnaire in the park to discover the user comfort sensation. The results found Taman Srigunting in the old city of Semarang is categorized both as a passive and active park, used for prominent activity in photography. These parks also influence the surrounding nature by decreasing the microclimate such as air temperature and humidity in the evening in the amount of 76% and 57% in the day. The air temperature went down from 34.8 C to 28.7 C. The micro climatic conditions and characteristics of energy consumption level was significant with the visitors comfort sensations, where in 56% visitors felt comfortable and only 4% felt the sensation of heat.
Perubahan iklim yang sangat eksrem pada decade ini sudah menjadi permasalahan global dan memberi dampak pada semua sektor kehidupan manusia. Tak terkecuali imbas pada disain arsitektur suatu bangunan hunian ataupun fungsi bangunan lainnya, walau sejak awal telah didisain dengan konsep “design with climate”. Dengan memahami dampak parameter iklim terhadap tampilan façade bangunan merupakah salah satu langkah untuk membuktikan seberapa tangguh (resilient) disain arsitektur tropis ini.Mengamati karakter seluruh bangunan perkulihan di kampus Universitas Diponegoro yang telah dibangun sejak tahun 1980-an, dengan style arsitektur tropis yang beragam, kami jadikan obyek pengamatan untuk hal tersebut diatas : Sejauh mana resilence disain tropis nya ? dan element-element disain apa sajakah yang patut “dilestarikan” ? Penganalisaan dilakukan terhadap 3 variabel utama (resiliensi, factor iklim dan arsitektur bangunan pada 13 bangunan perkuliahan kampus Undip ditahun 2017 ini. Kondisi ketangguhan yang diharapkan mewakili secara general pada bangunan yang telah berusia lebih dari 25 tahun.Terdapat dua hasil temuan: Pertama, terdapat 5 (lima) element bangunan tropis yang menjadi “tameng/perisai”factor iklim tropis, yaitu proporsi masa bangunan, atap, dinding, tritisan dan pelubangan dinding (jendela). Kedua: bahwa ketangguhan bangunan merupakan disain bangunan yang tidak hanya mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan terkait factor iklim (panas, hujan, angina dan kelembaban), namun optimalisasi dan aplikasi dan inovasi aspek disain aktif (perangkat elektronik) serta mitigasi dan/atau adaptasi sebagai solusi yang komprehensif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan bangunan tersebut. “Semakin tangguh suatu disain bangunan adalah keseimbangan antara pengentasan dan pendayagunaan factor iklim”
Background: Manalagi apples (Malus sylvestris) have long been believed to have the effect of lowering blood cholesterol levels. Where the main content is quercetin class of flavonoids as antioxidants and pectin which functions as fat absorption. Methods: This study was an experimental study with a randomized post test only control group design study conducted for 28 days and using 30 rats divided into 3 groups. Results: In all groups given a high fat diet with treatment, control (-) was given a high fat diet, control (+) was given simvastatin and KP1 was given Manalagi apple juice (Malus sylvestris) dose of 10 ml/day. One-Way ANOVA test results from measurements of triglyceride levels showed p = 0.139 (p> 0.05) so that Manalagi apple juice (Malus sylvestris) did not significantly affect blood triglyceride levels of male Wistar strains (Rattus norvegicus) given high fat diet. Conclusion: The administration of skin juice and flesh of Manalagi apple (Malus sylvestris) can reduce the blood triglyceride levels of male rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain had been given a high-fat diet before, but it was not statistically significant.
Pemahaman Resiliensi dalam ilmu rekayasa keteknikan khususnya pada Ilmu Arsitektur untuk daerah tropis sebenarnya bukan hal yang baru. Kebertahanan suatu disain karena factor iklim sudah puluhan tahun terkonsep dan aplikasinya dikenal dengan Design with Climate . Maraknya pembangunan masjid di berbagai tempat tentunya akan menambah kenyamanan beraktifitas dalam menjalankan ibadahnya bilamana kegiatan didalamnya tidak terganggu oleh dampak cuaca ekstrem, bilamana element disain bagian bangunan ini didisain tanggap terhadap factor cuaca. Dalam kegiatan perencanaan kembali disain masjid di desa negla kecamatan Losari Kabupeten Brebes ini, dikemas menjadi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengaplikasikan beberapa hasil penelitian sebelumnya dan kajian refeseni lain dari konsep Resiliensi pada suatu bangunan. Ada 2 (dua) aspek pendekatan disain, yaitu kajian disain masjid dan kajian resiliensi arsitektur tropis bangunan masjid. Dan hasilnya adalah secara prinsip aplikasi disain berkonsep resiliensi iklim tropis yang terterapkan ada pada respond hujan, pancaran sinar matahari yang berlebihan dan mengoptimalkan surkulasi udara, yang teraplikasi pada selubung bangunan masjid.
The research on the Analysis of Tourist Satisfaction of Lake Sarangan Magetan Based on Tourism Experience takes the object of tourists visiting the Sarangan Magetan Lake. This study aims to analyze tourist satisfaction after visiting Sarangan lake tourism objects based on tourism experience and knowing what attributes need to be improved to increase tourist satisfaction. Respondents in this study were tourists who visited the Telaga Sarangan tourist attraction, amounting to 70 people. While the data analysis technique in this study uses the Importance Performance Analysis. The research findings show that (1) Priority factors that need to be improved are novelty indicators with question items. I get new experiences after traveling in Sarangan Lake and (2) Factors that need to be maintained and improved such as comfortable traveling in Sarangan Magetan Lake, tourists feel comfortable and happy when visiting, get an unforgettable experience after visiting, get an unforgettable experience and get new experiences, the beautiful Sarangan Lake Magetan tourist attractions, feel amazed at its beauty.
