Two new species of the genus Neophyllobius Berlese, 1886 viz. Neophyllobius zolfigolii sp. nov. collected from soil under a wild rose bush and Neophyllobius kamalii sp. nov. collected from pomegranate leaves infested by Cenopalpus irani Dosse (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) are described and illustrated from Iran. A key to the Iranian species is provided.
Two new species of the subgenus Erythraeus are described from western Iran: Erythraeus (Erythraeus) populi sp. nov.from pear lace bug, Stephanitis pyri F. (Heteroptera: Tingidae), and E. (E.) chrysoperlae sp. nov. from a green lacewing,Chrysoperla kolthoffi (Navas) (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae). This paper reports the description of two new species belonging to the family Linotetranidae from Iran, Linotetranus iraniensis sp. nov. and L. astragalusi sp. nov., collected in soil associated with gum bushes, Astragalus gossypinus Fisch. (Fabaceae). A key to all known species of the world is provided.
