The results of this study suggest that MRI is not a completely safe technique in patients with amalgam restorations. It was shown that the main effect of fields led to the appearance of thermoelectromagnetic convection, which is responsible for the enhancement of the diffusion process, grain boundary migration and vacancy formation resulting in microleakage.
Recession of both horizontal rectus muscles, the same as has been reported for recession of one horizontal rectus muscle and recession-resection surgery on both horizontal rectus muscles, tends to induce a change in astigmatism in the with-the-rule direction.
Problem statement: Despite the significant influences of university entrepreneurship programs in developing students' entrepreneurial intention and abilities, there is little knowledge about how such programs shape students' abilities to successfully lead entrepreneurial activities. Approach: The main purpose of this qualitative study was to explore the impacts of university entrepreneurship programs in developing students' entrepreneurial leadership competencies. A sample of 14 undergraduate entrepreneurial leaders defined as having been highly involved in leading university entrepreneurship clubs and activities for at least two semesters was purposefully selected and interviewed. Results: Analysis of the data illustrated the prominent impacts of university entrepreneurship programs in developing students' entrepreneurial leadership through improving their self-awareness, self-efficacy and entrepreneurial leadership identity realization. Conclusion: It seems crucial to provide opportunities for them to explore their potentials in entrepreneurial leadership and university entrepreneurship programs may need to organize entrepreneurship clubs and associations where the students can experience leadership position and practice real roles and tasks of the leader in entrepreneurial activities. Implication of the findings for entrepreneurial leadership theory development and entrepreneurship education and the areas for future research are discussed.
The cognitive theory of depression proposes significant relations between negative thoughts and depression. Evidence for the model has been widely observed in Western countries. However, despite the high prevalence of depression in the Middle East (ME), there has been limited research that has evaluated the cognitive profiles of people living in this region, and especially in non‐Arab countries like Iran. The current research examined these relationships in Iran. Convenience sampling was used to recruit 80 depressed and 80 non‐depressed individuals via advertising in clinics and public areas, respectively. Depression status was checked with a structured interview, the Major Depressive Disorder subscale of the Psychiatric Diagnostic Screening Questionnaire, and the Beck Depression Inventory‐II. All participants completed the Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire‐Negative to examine the frequency of negative automatic thoughts. Unlike other results from Arab countries, depressed participants indicated significantly more negative thoughts towards self and future compared with the non‐depressed group. The results of the present study are consistent with the negativity hypothesis of the cognitive theory of depression. Further research is needed in the in ME, to investigate other hypotheses of this theory in this region. Strengths and limitations of the present study are discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
