This paper deals with the electronic structure of ruthenium. Synchrotron radiation in the range from 15 to 45 eV and angle-resolved ultraviolet photoemission are used to map the energies of the electronic states. The Fermi surface of Ru is determined using angle-resolved ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy. The experimental results are compared with calculated photoemission spectra obtained within the framework of the one-step model of photoemission.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
