In recent years, MgO-ZrO 2 composite material plays a significant role in dielectric properties for the use of capacitors and it has been considered as alternative to the conventionally used SiO 2 due to its advantages in ceramic applications. Under consideration, a series of Dy 3+ ions doped MgO-ZrO 2 have been synthesised by solution combustion method and dielectric measurements were carried out. Further, their crystal structures and optical properties were analysed and observed a notable effect. Additionally, all dysprosium doped MgO-ZrO 2 composite materials were subjected to measure electrical resistivity and found significant dielectric constants.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
