A second order active bandpass filter for a fmed centre frequency and a tunable one have been developed in coplanar line technique using negative resistance circuits. These filters operate in the 1.8 GHz band and have a 3 dB bandwidth of 110 MHZ. The tuning range of the centre frequency is 200 MHz. Each filter is fabricated on a GaAs substrate and occupies an area of 1.5 x 1.6 mm2 on the wafer including all biasing elements.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
