This paper presents a novel marker encoded fringe projection profilometry (FPP) scheme for efficient 3-dimensional (3D) model acquisition. Traditional FPP schemes can introduce large errors to the reconstructed 3D model when the target object has an abruptly changing height profile. For the proposed scheme, markers are encoded in the projected fringe pattern to resolve the ambiguities in the fringe images due to that problem. Using the analytic complex wavelet transform, the marker cue information can be extracted from the fringe image, and is used to restore the order of the fringes. A series of simulations and experiments have been carried out to verify the proposed scheme. They show that the proposed method can greatly improve the accuracy over the traditional FPP schemes when reconstructing the 3D model of objects with abruptly changing height profile. Since the scheme works directly in our recently proposed complex wavelet FPP framework, it enjoys the same properties that it can be used in real time applications for color objects.
Dari kondisi geografis Kepulauan Bawean merupakan kepulaun utama yang berada pada Kabupaten Gresik yang hanya bisa di jangkau dari pulau sekitarnya menggunakan transportasi laut. Transportasi laut memiliki peranan penting dalam distribusi sumber-sumber utama kebutuhan pokok masyarakat, hasil pertanian dan transportasi penyeberangan di Pulau Bawean. Dengan waktu operasional penyeberagan kapal yang terbatas dan kondisi kapal yang ada, memiliki kecepatan yang sedang menyebabkan tergangunya mobilitas orang dan distribusi barang hasil pertanian secara maksimal. Fast Ferry 150 Pax merupakan solusi tepat untuk transportasi laut penyeberangan rute Gresik-Bawean, yangmana memiliki kecepatan lebih cepat dibanding dengan kapal RO-RO ataupun Kapal Ferry yang ada. Untuk membangun Sebuah Fast Ferry 150 Pax diperlukan basic design yang baik, dimana salah satunya dalam perancangan ukuran utama kapal dengan kapal pembanding dan penentuan desain rencana garis. Penentuan ukuran utama kapal merupakan rencana kunci dalam perancangan kapal Fast Ferry 150 Pax dengan memperhatikan regulasi dari Klasifikasi dan standar kelaik-layakan kapal dalam beroperasional dilaut. Dimana dalam menentukan ukuran utama dan lineplan tersebut meliputi beberapa perancangan antara lain: menetukan ukuran utama kapal, menentukan desain kapal pembanding, membuat CSA dan shape control body plan. Dalam desain Fast Ferry 150 Pax, diahrapkan ketelitian yang lebih fokus dalam mencakup aspek regulasi dan keselamatan dalam kelaik-lautan kapal tersebut. Dimana didapatkan desain kapal Fast ferry 150 Pax tersebut dengan ukuran utama kapal LOA 35.00 m, lebar 5.50 m, tinggi 2.00 m, Sarat 1.08 m dan memiliki kapasitas penumpang 150 orang
Fringe projection profilometry (FPP) is a popular method for accurate 3D model reconstruction. In a typical FPP process, a tedious phase unwrapping procedure is often needed to obtain the true phase information of the captured fringe images. However, conventional phase unwrapping algorithms often suffer from the ambiguity problems when the scene contains occlusions or sudden jumps in object's height profile. In this paper, we propose an efficient decoding strategy to overcome the ambiguity problems. A novel coded fringe pattern is employed and a Gabor feature based discriminative dictionary is used to estimate the unknown period order of the wrapped phase. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve an accurate 3D reconstruction of objects' model in various adverse conditions where traditional FPP methods often fail to perform.
