Heterocyclic β-Enamino Esters. Part 57. Studies on the N-Glycosylation of Heterocondensed Uracils. -N-Glycosylations of various hetero condensed uracils such as (I), (V) or (VIII) are described, which are predestined for inhibitor activity against the reverse transcriptase. -(WAMHOFF, H.; WAMBACH, W.; HERRMANN, S.; JANSEN, M.; BRUEHNE, B.; J. Prakt.
Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Cs8P8O24·8 H2O. -The title compound is prepared from Na8P8O24·6 H2O by cation exchange and single crystals are grown by the gel technique. The compound, crystallizing in the space group P1 with Z = 1, is built-up from cyclic P8O8-24 anions (having chair conformation along the xy plane) with point symmetry C2h linked by CsO8 and CsO10 polyhedra, resp., thus forming a 3-dimensional framework. Additionally hydrogen bonds exist between water molecules and terminal oxygen atoms of the phosphate anions. -(BRUEHNE, B.; JANSEN, M.; Z. Anorg. Allg.
