Abstract:Bearing elements of a number of strategic equipment are limited length rods with a variable cross-section. Most of them are exposed to certain types of heat sources. To ensure reliable operation of these equipment it is necessary to know the temperature field along the length of the rod with a variable cross section. This paper proposes a computational algorithm and method to determine the temperature field along the length of the rod with limited length and variable cross-section. They are based on fundamental laws of energy conservation. Also obtained is an approximate analytical solution of the problem.
The use of conflict detection methods is not limited to the search and correction of errors in the data, they can also be used to find distorted data. Text analysis algorithms are used to detect inconsistencies and identify artificially created copies of original texts. This article discusses the effectiveness of statistical methods used to identify and eliminate inconsistencies and anomalies in large data. Compliance with the law of normal distribution of data was determined. The study is based on the comparison of statistical criteria with the Grubbs criterion, which gave high results in identifying conflicting data. A block diagram of the general algorithm of the Grubbs criterion was created and the results of iterations obtained in the Python programming environment were presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
