The use of technology has become an essential element in teaching and learning process. Usually, each language class uses some type of technology tools that are used to support and enhance language learning. They are tools to help teachers facilitate their students' language learning. This research focuses on the role of technology in learning English as a foreign and second language. It addresses the significance of technology that allows English language learners to develop their learning abilities. In this paper, the researchers describe the term technology integration, of technology, explain the use of technology in the language classroom, discuss the advantages and challenges of technology integration, and provide some suggestions for better use of these technologies to help learners develop their learning abilities.
This research was motivated by the low interest of students’ learning in history subject, which was 38.73%. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementing of the Quantum Teaching model in order to increase students' learning interest in history subject. This type of research is classroom action research. The subject of this research was students of class X IPS 2. The technique of collecting data and instrument research is to use observation techniques using observation sheets of students’ learning interest. This study consisted of 2 cycles where there were 2 meetings in each cycle. The data analysis technique in this study uses percentage analysis techniques which then the results of the data are given meaning. The results of this study indicate that the Quantum Teaching model can increase students’ learning interest where in each cycle there is an increase in students’ learning activities from 38.73% in the initial observation to 66.97% in the first cycle and increase 85.96% in the second cycle. The increase occurred in each indicator of learning interest both on indicators of interest, involvement, feelings of pleasure and interest in learning history. Because of increasing the percentage in learning of each aspects of learning activities in each cycle, this research was stopped in the second cycle. It was stated that the Quantum Teaching model could increase students' interest in learning history subject.
Classification is part of predictive modeling and supervised learning. This method is used to determine the data class based on the previous value. In solving certain cases, there are various classification methods with varying degrees of accuracy. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is part of the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) for processing two-dimensional data. CNN is also part of the Deep Neural Network and is applied to image objects. Some sources state that the classification process using images is not appropriate to be implemented in MLP. This will result in the accuracy of the method in handling certain cases. This study uses cendrawasih bird as object in the classification process to determine the accuracy of the keras recognition method. From the results of this study, a training model was conducted using 10 epochs with an accuracy and loss value of 0.0850 and 2.5658 respectively. These results indicate that MLP can successfully complete the classification process using images. These result s indicate that MLP can successfully complete the classification process using images.
