For this purpose, 90 patients (45 females, 45 males), having no orthodontic treatment history and skeleto dental Class III malocclusion included to study with their cephalometric films and handwrist films. Their cephalometric films divided into three subgroups (pre-pubertal, pubertal, postpubertal ) according to their developmental stage by using their hand wrist films. Gender differences in Class III subjects were evaluated statistically in each developmental stage seperately by using measurements to represent craniofacial and dentoalveolar structure. It was established that, Class III malocclusion seen with maxillary retrognathia while the mandible in normal position in all groups included to study (except post-pubertal males). The findings indicated that gender differences in Class III patients associated with linear dimensions in each developmental stage.
