Contemporary art, which also encompasses today's understanding of art, takes its artistic basis from the understanding of art that emerged in the 1960s. Art, which appeared with different appearances in the 1960s, has turned into an energyconsuming dynamic with the rapid development of technology, and today it appears before the audience in different ways. Contemporary art is experiencing a process in which orientation expansion is active, taking into account the changes in aesthetic sense. Contemporary art gathers many art forms under its own title with its critical and innovative attitude towards conceptual, experimental and traditional art. Metaphor appears as a strategy in artist works together with contemporary art. Metaphor, which is a way of explaining one thing with something else, is also in the distant connection between the similarities and differences of the two structures, the entities that produce and produce the metaphor. In this context, metaphor brings together ideas and images and offers a richer source of subject matter. Defining concepts by taking pictures or ideas from one discipline to another can create very fruitful metaphors. Concepts have led to new meanings by bringing together things that have no connection between objects in metaphorical thought. In line with this purpose and importance, it has been transferred using literature review, which is one of the qualitative research methods.
