the CEREC group were found to be higher than those of the KaVo and Planmeca groups (p < 0.05). CAD software showed an effect on the marginal fit values of crowns whereas no significant difference was observed in terms of the internal fit, except for a single measurement point made from the buccal direction.
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the University Departments and Faculty Member Competencies and Productivity based on Turkey Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) report which was first created by published in 2016 as to be the pilot university Ankara University, Faculty of Dentistry.
Methodology: The Competency Analysis were done for a time period 2018-2020. The data was extracted from the publications and citations, projects are based on the 2018-2020 period. The data were taken from WOS and Scopus database and InCites and SciVal databeses for all faculty members. A new index was defined with inclusion of following parameters; Department Volume Indicators (40%) by creating a new indicator Department Quality Indicators (60%), Faculty Volume Indicators (40%), Faculty Quality Indicators (60%) indicator criteria were used.
Findings: An academic competence analysis was creted which was piloted for Ankara University, Faculty of dentistry. Low volume From low quality low volume and to high quality and high volume departments and faculty members were indicated.
Originality: Based on the "Field Based Competency Analysis of Universities", which was created by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) in 2016, a simple and effective department and faculty member competency analysis method was created that can be used in all universities.
