The present research examines the perceptions of rural consumers towards the microgrid and rural electrification (RE) based solutions and develops a framework for improving the establishment of rural RE based microgrid solution captured from a case study in the Kalimpong district of North Bengal. The study adopted a mixed methodology study design includes the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the study through stakeholder interviews and questionnaire-based primary survey of the sample households. The perceptions received from sample households were validated with the response from other stakeholders, including academicians, researchers and sectoral experts. Data were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings of the present research indicate that to accelerate the socio-economic development of the hilly terrains of North Bengal region, multi-provider licensed based microgrid preferably with renewable-based is a preferred mode which ensures reliable and affordable access of electricity.
India is one among the largest energy consumers worldwide. Fuels contribute majorly to meet these energy demands leading to various environmental problems. Hence, this article discusses the different processes of water electrolysis as an alternate approach to produce highly pure hydrogen in an eco-friendly manner without any carbon emissions. Current status related to manufacturing, storage and transportation of hydrogen have also been discussed. Challenges faced regarding green hydrogen in India, such as cost, conveyance, storage, policies and public acceptance have been highlighted along with some of the action plans for hydrogen production in India with their estimated cost and completion time. A firm's primary objective is how to gain competitive advantage over other firms in their segment. Resource based view has been a theory which is being used by many firms to gain competitive advantage. Through this paper we tried to make a holistic attempt to comprehend application of Resource based view theory in area of business management and accounting. 1741 articles were abstracted from Scopus database. The paper is, divided into two half. Bibliometric analysis is, performed in the first half to show the most productive states/regions and co-citation by different authors. Content analysis is, conducted to pinpoint the articles that have exclusively used RBV theory along with other applicable theories in the field of business management.
