Considering the poor quality of the air, devices for monitoring the environment have become more and more sought after, they not only offer precise measurements, but also provide added comfort to users. This article presents the components needed to build an electrical device used for ambiental monitoring, a cost analysis, and a study on the acquisition costs of commercial devices that have similar monitoring capabilities.
The interest that Internet of Things (IoT) enjoys is particular not only from a technical point of view, but also through the lens of the special contribution in terms of economic competitiveness or development of public services. As a result, at the European level, IoT development is a goal for both companies and individual users. In our study, we aimed to analyze from a statistical point of view what is the situation of equipping private homes with IoT devices, the factors that exert an influence on individual behavior and the extent to which Member States differ from each other, as a premise for future public measures that will be adopted in this field.
The article’s main purpose is to analyse the effects of the “forced “digitalization process on the changes of the social attitudes appeared when the Covid 19 pandemic started. We will also outline efficient solutions to adapt to the new surrounding reality. The study aims to present a complete and objective analysis on the way the pandemic imposed not only behavioural and social changes, but also different visions at society level, about the imminent need for the digitalization process.
