Femicide is the killing of women or girls by "deadly power and hostile intentional targeting" because of their gender. In fact, femicide is mostly the result of constant violence against some women by mechanisms that condone general patterns of discrimination against women and impunity for perpetrators. In this study 1 , three emotions (pain, anger, despair) will be analyzed through tweets about the prevention of femicide in Turkey. In this context, the study has two related aims. The first of these is to identify and evaluate the deep traces left by femicides in the social memory. The second is to discuss the legal, socio-political and individual measures that should be taken immediately to eliminate this brutal form of punishment. In the study, 79491 tweets were for quantitative effect analysis; qualitative analysis was conducted on 14214 individual tweets ranked in terms of impact. The most basic finding of the study: in tweets with emotional content; it has been determined that emotions occur simultaneously and together and are closely related to each other. These feelings, on the other hand, are the findings pointing to the existing individual and structural causes of femicide and suggested solutions.
The main purpose of this study is to determine what kind of effect (emotion) the sense of injustice, which is seen as the structural cause of femicide in Türkiye, leaves in the social memory and what kind of measures such an effect leads to taking to prevent femicide. In the study 1 , quantitative (number of tweets-14,214 tweets) and qualitative (content of tweets and google questionnaire conducted with 94 people) research methods were used together to analyze the content of the data obtained. Therefore, in the methodology of the study, the texts of the tweets in the sample group were first uploaded to the MAXQDA computer software program, and then justice/injustice, basic principles of justice, reasons for criminal injustice and positive/negative emotions were entered into the system. The main finding of the study is that, due to the violation of basic principles of justice in the Panoptic patriarchal legal system in Türkiye, inadequate sentences given to perpetrators as the representative of Panoptic patriarchal power, on the one hand, encourage other men to resort to lethal violence; on the other hand, it leaves victims (and potential victims) vulnerable to the injustice of condemning them to new victimizations. The third party reacting to this situation is characterized by intense feelings of anger, mistrust, helplessness and sadness, but nevertheless hopeful that justice will be served.
On self-identification is a thinking problem. Rather the person is about to become visible unconsciously formed perception of the process. According to Castells (2006: 12) is the people's sense of identity and a source of experience. According to him, talking about the social actors in reference to identity, meaning, a cultural trait or a set of interrelated meanings given priority compared to other sources is built on a foundation of cultural identity. The essence of the issue of identity is shaped by their similarities and differences .Subject of this paper claimed that there were multiple identities in today's world of different age identities (the Balkan Immigrants and Native Çanakkale) feelings and thoughts that have been developed against each other to determine what is going on. This is in line with the findings of observations and the different identities that you can discuss the possibilities of living together, which is on the ground. Research, quantitative research technique, a questionnaire-survey method was used. The study population by creating Çanakkale Central Region with 200 persons were surveyed by means of purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS Windows program and data was analyzed by creating a one-way and two-way frequency tables.
Neoliberalism is a concept is used to explain the changes in capitalism such as saving crisis and profitability in the early 1970s. While referring to the difference between government and governance, it also fortifies a state's influence on administrative processes by minimizing it. Namely, neoliberalism problematizes the state concept and delimits it by calling individual choices. On the other hand, it includes administrative forms which support normalizations of both institutions and individuals according to market. In this study, 600 K tweets sent under #sendeanlat (tellyourstory) hashtag in which women tell their personal violence experiences will be analyzed to inspect security, violence and woman subject from the point view of neoliberalism, and their positioning to each other. As a result, the question what kind of solutions could be producible against violence mechanisms which are both reason and result of neoliberal political economy. The method of this study includes both quantitative and qualitative techniques. For qualitative analysis 1200 ranked tweet and for quantitative analysis, 600K tweets are inspected. Tweets are archived by using R Statistical Software via Twitter Rest API and quantitative techniques are applied by using the same software environment. Ranked tweets are coded with MAXQDA qualitative analysis software by using open coding approach.
