The goal of this article is to investigate manapa or batajau in an event to renew social bonds through the performativity of gandang tasa in the Pariaman community. Manapa (a regular social gathering with a performance) is an example of local wisdom that is implemented in a traditional manner with an aesthetical packaging. As a regular social gathering with a performance, manapa gandang tasa is used to establish and renew social bonds between gandang tasa groups from different nagari (villages) in the Pariaman community. In manapa, gandang tasa groups take turns to visit each other and perform a number of their own special pieces as well as other pieces that the groups can play together. The study uses a qualitative method with emphasis on detailed observation of a manapa event. An interpretative analysis is used to reveal the concept of manapa as a formula that can act as a social bond between the Pariaman community. Through an emic approach, the research results show that the performance of gandang tasa in the context of manapa can build unity and togetherness.
<p>Rumah Makan Patinku yang terletak di Kota Medan, yang memiliki ciri khas makanan tradisional dengan produk unggulannya adalah ikan Patin. Logo Rumah Makan Patinku baru diresmikan di pertengahan tahun 2017. Logo yang baru dibuat tersebut berarti Rumah Makan Patinku sudah memiliki identitas yang jelas. Logo yang sudah dibuat dapat dimaknai dengan beberapa penafsiran, salah satunya dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes yang lebih menekankan pada pemaknaan denotatif dan pemaknaan konotatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai apa saja yang terkandung di dalam logo Rumah Makan Patinku secara denotatif dan konotatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah metode kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui hasil studi literatur dan wawancara dengan pemilik rumah makan Patinku. Pemaknaan denotatif logo Rumah Makan Patinku dapat dimaknai dengan menerangkan apa saja yang terkandung secara visual dari logo tersebut, sedangkan pemaknaan konotatifnya dapat dimaknai dengan melihat struktur dari logo tersebut untuk menyampaikan visi dan misi Rumah Makan Patinku yang dituangkan ke dalam bentuk logo.</p>
This research was motivated by several problems, including: SMPN 2 Padang has an A accreditation and is one of the favorite schools but because student admissions under the zoning system have an impact on student behavior because tests are not applied when new students are admitted to school, problems related to student discipline are found. . An example is being late for school and there are students who do not do their homework when the learning process takes place. The purpose of this study was to describe the form of applying the value of discipline at the time of the implementation of activities to open learning to improve the character of students at SMPN 2 Padang. To describe the form of application of disciplinary values during the implementation of core learning activities towards improving the character of students at SMPN 2 Padang. To describe the form of application of the value of discipline at the time of the closing of the learning activities towards improving the character of students at SMPN 2 Padang. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive research which produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior at the research location of SMP N 2 Padang. With data collection techniques through Observation, Interview by seeking complete and in-depth information and Documentation Study. The results of this study indicate that first, the form of applying the value of discipline in the learning process of activities opens to improving the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Padang, namely in this activity the teacher applies the value of discipline by coming to class on time, discipline in class cleanliness, delivering grades. -discipline values to students, explain the rules of the learning process as a form of applying discipline and also explain sanctions or penalties if students violate. Second, the form of applying the value of discipline in the learning process of core activities to improving the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Padang, namely in this activity carried out by the teacher to shape the character of students by linking the material with the value of discipline, being consistent with the rules made, being able to behave assertive, giving praise to students if they can answer questions. Third, the form of applying the value of discipline in the learning process of closing activities to improving the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Padang, namely before ending the learning activities, the teacher asks students to discuss things that have been learned, asking for the attitude of responsibility of students who are picket also including in applying discipline and closing learning activities by praying and giving greetings.
The aim of the study is to evaluate golden snail flour (Pomacea canaliculata Lamarck) and supplementation of probiotics in rations on the performance of Pekin duck. The study used 100 DOD of Pekin duck. The study was designed into Completely Randomized Design consisting of 5 treatments and four replicates. Rations used during the first month was a commercial ration, and there after was ration as the treatments: R1 = Ration (control); R2 = Ration containing of golden snail flour 4% and probiotic 0,5 ml; R3 = Ration containing of golden snail flour 6% and probiotic 0,5 ml; R4 = Ration containing of golden snail flour 8% and probiotic 0,5 ml; and R5= Ration containing of golden snail flour 10% and probiotic 0,5 ml. The observed variables feed consumption, body weight gain, final body weight, feed conversion, and mortality. Data was analiyzed by ANOVA and Duncan. The results showed that the golden snail flour and supplementation probiotics was significantly (P<0.05) influence on the performance of the Pekin duck. Effect of 8-10% golden snail flour and supplementation probiotics of ration significantly (P<0.05) on final body weight and feed conversion of Pekin duck. It is concluded that 8-10% golden snail flour and supplementation of 0.5 ml probiotics in rations able to increase body weight gain and decrease mortality of Pekin duck.
This research is motivated by the problems that occur in schools that students at SMK N 2 Lubuk Basung still tend to do things that are not in accordance with the values of Pancasila, especially the value of unity among students. Some of these problems include there are still students who distinguish friends, do Body shaming. Lack of togetherness and cohesiveness of students, there are still many students who have not applied the attitude of the form of practicing the value of unity in learning activities in the classroom and outside the classroom. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. With data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data triangulation carried out is source triangulation, technique triangulation and time triangulation. And data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of this study explain that: 1) teachers design and prepare learning tools and teaching modules. This learning design is to achieve the specified Learning Outcomes (CP). 2) the inculcation of the value of unity in Civics learning in students is instilled through 3 aspects of education, namely aspects of knowledge, aspects of attitudes and psychomotor aspects. 3) the teacher's obstacle and solution in instilling the value of unity in Civics learning in students is that there are still students who have not applied the value of unity in the school environment but this can be handled well by the teacher by the teacher instilling in students a sense of kinship and instilling a sense of belonging. love the homeland. Conclusion The results of this study are teachers are able to design learning about the value of unity and apply it in the form of 3 aspects, namely aspects of knowledge, aspects of attitudes and psychomotor so that obstacles to the value of unity against students can be overcome.
