This article entitled Tan Deseng Sundanesee Arts Figures In Chinese Society in Bandung City Region. This research tries to reveal the biography of Tan Deseng and his efforts in learning arts and culture of Sundanese especially on the ethnic Chinese in the area of Bandung and surrounding areas. His work in the art world is one of acculturation efforts through the Sundanese cultural approach.To dissect the problem is used scientific perspective in ethnomusicological scope with historical approach, sociology and anthropology (cultural transmission procces) with a focus on biorafis study to reveal the arts and efforts made Tan Deseng and its contribution to efforts of assimilation efforts in the city of Bandung. This paper uses a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive paradigm.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur gerak serta mendeskripsikan fungsi kesenian pencak silat Sanggar Putra Santana di Desa Rajadatu Kecamatan Cineam kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik. dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni hasil analisis struktur gerak melalui jurus 10 yang memiliki nilai keagamaan sebagai makna yang terkandung dalam setiap gerakannya. Dengan struktur pertunjukan yang didukung oleh unsur pendukung lain, diantaranya Iringa music,rias dan busana, bentuk penyajian dan struktur pertunjukan. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa pencak silat memiliki kegunaan dan peranan penting dalam masyarakat terutama dalam fungsi yang ada didalamya diantaranya fungsi hiburan, ritual, presentasi estetis dan pendidikan. Dengan demikian bahwa penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan serta pemaparan sebagai deskripsi dari kesenian pencak silat.
The consequences of diverse community with different backgrounds stimulate egocentric attitudes of society that improve primordialism and ethnicity.In the process of community survival, there is social interaction between individuals and groups as well as occured between ethnic groups, vulnerable to frictions that triggers conflict. In West Java, the majority of Sundanese living side by side with other ethnic groups, one of them is Chinese. The Pasundan Asih community founded by Tan Deseng and several Chinese public figures in Bandung has an effort to display artistic Sundanese group trained and led by Tan Deseng. They studied Sundanese art and culture, especially in Bandung area and its surroundings to practice and present art from the Sunda region for special events. This study discusses the process of cultural psychososiology adaptation took place at the Padepokan Pasundan Asih in Bandung city. The results of this study indicate that the process of cultural adaptation within the community which become one of the factors driving the success of tolerance of cultural life in Indonesia.
This paper aims to provide an overview of activities that seek to bring the process of art education directly to the public Community service that started from a discussion between lecturers and youth youth organizations at Perum Arjamukti Kencana in building a tourist village area around Singaparna, Tasikmalaya Regency, from this discussion arose a desire to create activities that involve residents and youth youth groups in arts-related activities. A participatory mural is a mural activity that involves the participation of citizens in its implementation, both before implementation, in its manufacture and after its creation. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The descriptive method used to increase the appreciation of fine arts through participatory murals at Perum Arjamukti Singaparna, Tasikmalaya Regency. The results obtained from research that have been carried out by residents' wishes in the mural participation process are varied, the forms of citizen participation are not only in the form of trying to scratch koas on walls to produce mural images, there are also those who participate in providing consumption, raw materials, documenting works through social media or simply just talking and taking selfies on existing murals.
