Çalışmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sağlık bakımında bilgisayar kullanıma yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.Araçlar ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı olarak planlanan çalışmanın örneklemini elaman sayısı belli olan evrenden olayın görülüş sıklığının belirlenmesinde kullanılan formül ile hesaplanan 300 hemşirelik öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Veriler Kaminski tarafından geliştirilen, "Sağlık Bakım Sisteminde Bilgisayarlara Karşı Tutum Ölçeği" ile birebir görüşme yöntemi ile etik kurallara uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Veriler SPSS 15,0 paket programında; sayı ve yüzde (%) hesaplamaları olarak değerlendirilmiş, ölçülebil ir değişkenlerin karşılaştırmasında Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis H testleri kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Sağlık bakımı verilen alanlarda, bilgisayar kullanımına yönelik duygu ve tutumlarının cinsiyet, yaş ve sınıfa göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada; bilgisayar kullanımına yönelik kararsızlık veya anksiyete yaşayabilecek olanlar %2, bilgisayar kullanımı konusunda huzursuz ve endişeleri olanlar %4, bilgisayar teknolojisi farkındalığı sınırlı olanlar %8 oran ındadır. Bilgisayar yetenekleri konusunda gerçekçi görüşe sahip olanların %38,7, çeşitli bilgisayar programlarını kullanma yeteneği konusunda kendinden emin olanların %36, bilgisayar kullanmayı öğrenebilme konusunda kendilerinden çok emin olan, bilgi teknolojisini önemseyenlerin %11,3 oranında oldukları belirlenmiştir.Sonuç: Hemşire öğrencilerin bilgisayar teknolojisi ve eğitimini, sağlık bakımının ayrılmaz bir parçası olarak görmelerini sağlamak ve hemşire öğrencilerin bilgisayar kullanım etkinliğini artırmak amacıyla bilgisayara dayalı bir çevrede uygulamalarını gerçekleştirmeleri sağlanmalıdır.
