This study aimed to identify the factors that cause erosion, map erosion-prone areas, and determine conservation directions that can be carried out on regions indicated by erosion in the Wae Batu Merah watershed. In this study, erosion forming parameters will be overlapped. The USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method was used as a parameter to create erosion. The results showed that erosion factors that greatly affected the erosion incidence in the Wae Batu Merah watershed, namely, slope factors and crop management factors and conservation measures, and as much as erosion were dominated by very large classes with an area of 558.21 ha or 52.67% alone. The smallest is the medium class, with an area of 54.57 ha or 5.15%. Conservation directives carried out on regions indicated by erosion in the Wae Batu Merah watershed were the direction of the vegetative method, which is reforestation, planting trees in the form of durian trees, and GMO sengon trees, making parks in residential areas, and building mechanical terraces.
Limited data and the lack of use of Remote Sensing Technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to map areas that are potentially prone to forest and land fires in Ambon City are one of the obstacles in handling forest and land fires. This study aims to identify the factors that cause forest and land fires, determine the level of vulnerability to forest and land fires and produce a digital map of forest and land fires in Jazirah Leitimur Selatan, Ambon City. The data used are Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS C1 Level-1 path/row 109/62 satellite imagery acquired on October 28, 2017. Hotspot data was obtained from FIRMS and Lapan Fire Hotspot. Data processing is done by using the method of overlaying variables that trigger the occurrence of forest and land fires. The results showed that the Jazirah Leitimur Selatan has the potential to be prone to forest and land fires with 76.6% of the area included in the vulnerable to very vulnerable category, while 23.4% is in the non-prone category.

Tujuan dari Pengabdian yang dilaksanakan adalah melakukan pendampingan dan kontrol terhadap pelaksanaan Proyek Penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (5P) dengan mengusung Tema” Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan Dengan Proyek Pengukuran Emisi Karbon Di Kota Ambon. Pendampingan diarahkan pada hal hal teknis yang dilakukan oleh para siswa mulai dari cara pengambilan data dilapangan, tata cara pengujian dilaboratorium, analisis data sampai pada penyusunan laporan akhir proyek kegiatan. Lokasi yang ditetapkan Hutan Lindung Dusun Siwang Negeri Urimesing. Metode yang digunakan adalah, metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan terkait pengukuran Emisi Karbon khusus dibidang kehutanan sosialisasi ini diberikan dengan mempedomani ISSN 2770 tentang pedoman pengukuran Emisi Karbon yang disederhanakan untuk siswa siswa SMA Kelas X. Metode selanjutnya adalah metode pengukuran emisi karbon dilapangan yang juga tetap menggunakan ISSN 2770 sebagai pedoman pengukuran dilapangan yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis dan pelaporan.
