This research study focuses on project organization structure, multi-tasking, issues, challenges, and limitations that occur during the project execution for a conventional and virtual team. This research aims to understand the importance of the technical labor force in the organization and fill the human resources gap in project engineering, construction, and management implementation. The project is unique and must be dealt with highly technical by the project team. Projects might be the same structure and scale but in different conditions, parameters, and requirements. In general, dealing with and executing other projects is challenging. The design guidelines are formatted, although not entirely the same. The process model uses model-based optimization to compare the conventional and virtual MSS organizational structures to optimize, innovate, and multi-tasking project staff, personnel, and direct technical members. The study will include the importance of global virtual teams (GVT) and the contribution of software collaboration, including cloud-based software (CBS). Multi structures-scales (MSS) concept can be a diversified, optimized, and innovative way to increase team effectiveness, technical dependence, and utilize existing resources. It uses organizational productivity and the individual living of project team members. However, even though the MSS concept seeks to lower the labor cost and reduce individual participation, the labor issue, technical workforce, challenges, disputes, and other problems are not inevitable. As a result, in this implementation, the corporate organization will solidify the project team structure into multi-project execution even to long-term employment and operation. The PE/S can perform simultaneously in different stages of the same type of project. In contrast, a PM can perform additional steps even on other kinds of projects. Furthermore, in the study, PS and PM can effectively function if not more than three (3) projects; otherwise, low-performance evaluation and low-quality product results occur.
This research study will focus mainly on the LNG sector. The objective is to determine, investigate, and seek the operability opportunity in a virtual environment's project management, engineering, and construction. The researcher will tackle the importance and issues it addresses the virtual project management (VPM) platform demands without compromising the quality and safety of services during the execution of the project. This virtual platform simulated the model using conventional project management stated in PMBOKS. The researcher will randomly pick the possible solution and improve the existing project management consultancy (PMC) operation and processes, initially to virtualize the system to meet the technical personnel demand, lapses, and labor vacuum within the available time. The goal is to achieve this conversion, minimize face-to-face interaction, promote work at home, reduce operational costs, minimize technical human resource risk, and facilitate working space area capacity. This study divides virtual project management (VPM) into operational possibility, effectivity, and capability (OPEC). Operational Possibility and Effectivity are the primary concern in this research, and it discusses the elemental process attributes such as [1] Leadership Style, [2] Design Planning, [3] Functional Management, and [4] Performance Evaluation. However, conventional project management is the basis of this study's viewpoint and is translated into virtual. Moreover, this study still shows the operational capability and discusses it in the logical analysis as part of the OPEC overall model. The gathered data, discussion, and analysis in two (2) groups, the possibility and effectivity of this virtual platform, and the respondent's opinion, the virtual team from domestically is preferred by the experts in the field over offshoring or overseas. Moreover, the operational effectiveness with the two (2) highest attributes, as per the expert's opinion, the VPM should focus on the virtual team's Performance Evaluation [1 st ] and the Project manager's (PM) Leadership Style [2 nd ]. The virtual team's Performance Evalua-
This 5D model research study gathers data and integrates existing research papers and related studies into this review. The goal is to reflect on the concept to realize this research and the issue and problems faced by previous research. Moreover, the industries' operational possibility, practicality, and applicability align with Industry 4.0 and the Digital Twin perspective. This paper presents an extensive literature analysis concerning the 5D model concept utilizing and integrating into one (1) platform with 3D CAD software during the entire project engineering construction stages, including operation and maintenance. The 5D model study focuses on platform development and innovation in a remote or virtual environment. The remote control and monitoring apply to project engineering/construction, plant operation/maintenance (OM), and system decommissioning. Specifically, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Petroleum Refinery, etc. It will also include Building Information Model (BIM) related research study, especially in costing and scheduling development. Due to the limited and unavailability of data for a specific study, the 5D model concept is not everywhere. However, it has already been formulated from various perspectives of researchers, modelers, and software developers in different stages. The researcher brings together related topics like virtual project management (VPM), virtual team (vT), data management system (DMS), web-portal system, building information modeling (BIM), cloud-based software (CBS), project triad, multi-structure & scale, lean construction, safety, quality, google earth, control/inspection, and remote-control monitoring, 3D model design, and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The study review of the 5D model concept within the specific area is evaluated, analyzed, and summarized in the below, figures and tables. It concluded that the effective implementation of the idea increases competitiveness, high safety, quality, and performance. Moreover, it does not duplicate another research study on this 5D model concept. However, the relevant topic's idea may be improved, optimized, and innovated to realize this concept and better application.
The project triad is a concept model of coordination that consists of three (3) leading project team players, such as the project client, consultant, and contractor, agreeing and embracing the transparency transaction in a virtual environment, that's virtual project coordination (VPC). The main objective is to fill in the gap, issues, and problems in communication, specifically in coordination and cooperation. Moreover, to prevent the duplication of ideas, increase competitiveness, and seek improvement for operational effectiveness in virtual project management (VPM). This literature review will gather data from publications, studies, technical papers, etc., from 2013 to 2023 publications. The project coordination depends on how effective communication is used in the project. Therefore, the review analysis focuses on project communication, coordination, cooperation, delivery, uses, tools, and techniques. Mostly related to the latest coordination issue that leads to disputes and how cooperative the project team is, including the virtual environment. The research review will use statistical analysis under the guidelines with the processes of the C4 model (collect, check, calibrate, and complete), filter, process, and sort the gathered data. Then, take the objective (optimization), significance (importance), evaluation, and limitation (OSEL) of the research publication. As a result, a statistical analysis is most likely mentioned in the related publication with coordination issues; however, the effectiveness will depend on the software collaboration used in the 5D model for the project. Therefore, the project triad concept is necessary for the project, whether simple or complex, with the collaboration of related software. The relevant topic's idea may be improved, optimized, and innovated to pursue this concept to realization and better application.
