Migration data is a useful tool for creating a single internal economic space that is harmoniously integrated with the global economy by helping to create conditions for the growth of economic and business activity of economic entities. Migration processes, primarily labour migration, are among the significant factors affecting the socio-economic situation both in the country as a whole and in its regions. This study discusses the following issues: state regulation of migration processes; statistical analysis and interpretation of data on internal migration from labour-surplus to labour-deficient regions. In order to achieve the objectives, the study uses statistical data on the inter-regional migration in the country; World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) indicators of social welfare; International Labour Organization’s (ILO’s) unemployment assessment; the dynamics of demographic processes in society. Following the findings, the study presents recommendations on the regulation of internal migration from southern to northern regions of Kazakhstan. Thus, the research results can be implemented when developing regulatory legal acts, migration management programmes, etc. The findings of this study can be used as a basis for assessing the dynamics of the social well-being of migrants in Central Asia.
The outflow of young people from the country for education and employment abroad is one of the most acute socio-economic problems for Kazakhstan. Taking into account the international competition in education and the imperfection of the labor market in the country, stopping the emigration of young people in the near future seems to be a difficult task. The purpose of the study is to identify and substantiate the economic aspects and factors of educational and labor migration of Kazakh youth abroad. Today, young people of Kazakhstan travel to almost all regions and countries of the world. Youth migration has both positive and negative aspects. There were developed 3 types of online questionnaires for particular categories of respondents: 1) graduates of secondary education (27 questions), 2) graduates of bachelor’s degree (27 questions), 3) young people working and living abroad (23 questions). SPSS Software was used for data analysis. The positive consequences include raising the level of qualifications and knowledge of young people, exploring new opportunities for self-realization. However, an urgent problem is a fact that the educational and labor migration of young people turns into permanent or non-return migration. The analysis allowed us to identify the dominant factors of «attraction-pushing», which have been studied and are considered as determining the migration movement of young people abroad. The combination of attracting and pushing factors influencing the migration decisions of young people can be very complex and diverse, however, in most cases, the main factors are economic, social, and demographic factors of migration.
This article is devoted to identifying the positive and negative sides and difficulties in transport and logistics companies during digital technologies implementation in their activities Developing a digital ecosystem in logistics and distribution of goods is becoming the key to efficient transport operations. This study used a qualitative research method, and interviews were conducted with experts in the transport and logistics field. The data was coded according to the following indicators: the digital mode, barriers and challenges for implementing digital systems in logistics, benefits of using digital technologies. The article presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of the information of domestic authors, as well as prominent scientists and experts from far and near abroad in the field of studying the problems of the influence of internal environment factors on the effectiveness of life, self-support and improvement of quality management systems (QMS) and total quality management (TQM) of companies and firms certified according to the criteria of international standards ISO 9000 series. A general global trend of a sharp decrease in customer interest in QMS and TQM certification to ISO requirements in all areas of production and services has been established over the past 10 years, including in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Thus, the number of certified enterprises of all levels according to ISO in the country today compared to the year 2010 has decreased three times. The authors believe that the solution to the problem of improving the efficiency of the QMS and TQM lies in the permanent improvement of the corporate culture of the personnel of the enterprise by the top management based on the transformation of their mentality through the development of the principles of leadership, process approach, job improvement, staff involvement and management of employee relations.
