El presente texto analiza la evolución de la arquitectura valenciana entre 1450 y 1550, desde la perspectiva del lenguaje arquitectónico empleado, las realizaciones concretas más significativas, y los maestros más destacados de los oficios de cantería, albañilería y talla del yeso. Fundamentalmente se centra en el brillante episodio de la estereotomía o arte del corte de la piedra de la segunda mitad del siglo XV, encabezado por los maestros Francesc Baldomar y Pere Compte, y las consecuencias de la formación de maestros en el círculo próximo que permite extender este tipo de trabajos por otras áreas geográficas. También tiene en cuenta el preciso desarrollo de la albañilería y la extensión del uso de las técnicas tabicadas con la figura del maestro Francesc Martínez Biulaygua. Posteriormente, se analiza la transición al siglo XVI, la introducción de un nuevo vocabulario arquitectónico a la romana y la consiguiente evolución hacia una arquitectura renacentista con figuras como Jerónimo Quijano o Gaspar Gregori.
