Analisar as evidências científicas a respeito das pneumoconioses em trabalhadores brasileiros, publicadas nacional e internacionalmente. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada no bancos de dados: LILACS, BDENF, SciELO, Google Acadêmico e no portal PubMed. A pesquisa foi feita em dezembro de 2020 utilizando os descritores "Pneumoconiose" AND "Brasil", "Pneumoconiosis" AND "Brazil", e termos "Doenças respiratórias relacionadas ao trabalho" OR "Doenças respiratórias ocupacionais" AND "Brasil", "Work-related Respiratory Diseases" OR "Occupational Respiratory Diseases" AND "Brazil" em todas as bases de dados. Cinco artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão, foram selecionados e responderam à seguinte pergunta condutora: quais são as evidências científicas acerca das pneumoconioses nos trabalhadores brasileiros? Os estudos foram realizados, em sua maioria, em Minas Gerais, um dos estados brasileiros, com número expressivo de casos de silicose notificados, e estudaram principalmente a prevalência, os riscos e os diagnósticos relacionados à silicose. A silicose apresenta alta prevalência nos estudos e que requer medidas de prevenção e controle para se manter os ambientes onde há exposição às poeiras dentro dos limites toleráveis pela legislação.
