This study aims to produce and determine the feasibility of e-learning based Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle in class X trigonometry. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data was collected through validation of e-learning by validators and student response questionnaires. Development media in research This was validated by material experts, media experts, and tested on class X students of SMAN 1 Lingsar, West Lombok, NTB. The test subjects in the development of this media were 34 students of class X IPA 1 who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that at the validation stage by material experts and media experts, the validity results were 90.67% and 90.00% with the media category "Very Eligible". Meanwhile, at the trial stage, the response of students to e-learning obtained an average result of 87.23%, namely in the "Very Good" category. Thus, it can be concluded that e-learning is very suitable for use by class X students of SMAN 1 Lingsar, especially in trigonometry material.
This study aims to determine and describe the level of mathematical connection ability of students in solving mathematical investigation questions in grade VII students at SMPN 2 Labuapi in the academic year 2020/2021. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were 10 students of VII A class at SMPN 2 Labuapi. The data was collected in the form of test results of students' mathematical connection skills in solving mathematical investigation questions at triangles and quadrangle matter and the results of interviews. The test results were analyzed according to the indicators of students' mathematical connection ability, which is being able to connect the mathematical concepts that have been studied and those being studied and to connect the mathematical concepts to everyday life. Based on the results of data analysis, that the mathematical connection ability of students in solving mathematical investigation questions was still in the sufficient category. Overall there were 3 students (30%) in very poor category, 2 students (20%) in very good category, 2 students (20%) in good category, 2 students (20%) in good enough category, and 1 student (10%) in poor category.
Merancang media peraga yang disertai pedoman operasionalnya merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi guru di tingkat sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari penelitian sebelumnya tentang merancang media peraga lengkap dengan pedoman operasionalnya. Upaya desiminasi hasil penelitian dilakukan pada guru-guru kecamatan Gerung, Lombok Barat dalam mengatasi persoalan pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan para guru SD di Kecamatan Gerung tentang konsep dan prinsip tentang pengukuran khususnya konsep luas daerah; kedua, meningkatkan keterampilan merancang media peraga geometri tentang luas daerah serta pedoman operasionalnya. Sebelum melakukan kegiatan ini para peserta diberikan Pretest untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi setelah kegiatan dilakukan. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 18 orang guru yang berasal dari berbagai sekolah dasar di Gugus V Kecamatan Gerung. Kegiatan pengabdian diawali dengan pendalaman tentang konsep dan prinsip luas daerah utamanya parameter penentu luas daerah dengan cara presentasi, demonstrasi. Kedua, simulasi dan praktek merancang media peraga prinsip luas dan ketiga adalah diskusi dalam kelompok kerja dan presentasi tentang media dan pedoman yang telah dirancang dan demontrasi cara penggunaaannya. Media peraga tentang luas daerah ada 6 yakni prinsip luas daerah persegi panjang, Jajaran genjang, segitiga, trapesium, layang-layang dan prinsip luas daerah lingkaran. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan para peserta diberikan Postest. Hasil pelatihan sangat efektif, ini ditunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara hasil Pretest dan post-tes. Rata-rata hasil Pretest sebesar 3,9 dan rata-rata Postest sebesar 7,1. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa th = 8,74 > ttab = 2,03, taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini juga berarti bahwa terjadi perubahan yang signifikan pada guru Sekolah Dasar di Gugus V di Kecamatan Gerung setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini. Selanjutnya, kegiatan ini perlu diperluas ke wilayah yang lain agar para guru SD memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang sama dalam rangka menghadapi pendidikan abad 21.
The present descriptive study aims to analyze the misconceptions among prospective mathematics teacher on geometry using three-tier diagnostic tests. The research subjects were 52 students of mathematics education study program in a university in Mataram, Indonesia. The data were collected from students' written work in solving the three-tier geometry test. The test investigated the students' (1) understanding of concepts, (2) reasons, and (3) confidence in answering problems ( 1) and (2). Data analysis performed quantitatively and quantitatively using descriptive method. The results showed that there are: (1) 28.6% students who understood the concept, (2) 10.8% students who only guessed or were not sure of the answer and (3) 60.6% students had misconceptions. Misconceptions that occurred in students can be divided into three categories, namely: (1) pure misconceptions as much as 43.7%, (2) false positives (understanding deficiency) as much as 9.8%, and (3) false negatives (less information or careless) as much as 7.1%. The study implies many attempts are needed to improve prospective mathematics teachers' conceptual understanding in geometry.
This research was aimed to describe the application of differential equations of the population growth model in the City of Mataram, which is an exponential and logistic models for estimating the population of the City of Mataram in 2024. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach carried out by observation and analyze the subject. The subject of this research was data on the population of the City of Mataram from 2006 to 2019. Meanwhile, to determine the accuracy and validity of the research data, the triangulation of sources was used. The data used comes from the Dispendukcapil and BPS the City of Mataram. The research result, it shows that the exponential model has an accuracy rate of 99,6%, which is very accurate, while for estimating with a logistic model each criterion is very accurate but the confidence level is 97,9%. Estimation results also show that population growth in the city of Mataram in the future will slowdown in its growth every 2 years, with an average decrease of 0.5%.
This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the Problem Solving learning model with Bruner Theory on students’ learning outcomes in the fraction material of 7th grade of SMP Negeri 2 Madapangga academic year 2020/2021. This research uses a quasi experiment type with the posttest only design with nonequivalent groups. The sampling technique in this research is cluster random sampling technique with class VII-A as the experimental class and class VII-B as the control class. In the experimental class, the Problem Solving learning model was applied with Bruner's Theory and the control class applied a conventional learning model. The instrument used is a learning outcome test (post-test). The quantity analysis was used t-test obtained that the Problem Solving learning model with Bruner’s theory is effective to increase the student results of 7th grade on fractions material in SMP Negeri 2 Madapangga academic year 2020/2021.
This study aims to describe the ability to solve mathematical problems in Plane Figure Subject based on van Hiele's theory in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Mataram in the academic year 2021/2022. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, which produces data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The subjects in this study were students in class VIII-E at SMP Negeri 1 Mataram, totaling 36 students. The method of taking the subject in this study used purposive sampling, which was selected based on the objectives to be achieved. The data collection methods used are the van Hiele test and the flat wake problem-solving ability test, interviews, and documentation. The thinking level of students in taking the van Hiele test was: 20 students at level 0 (visualization) with a percentage of 55.56%, 13 students at level 1 (analysis) with a percentage of 36.11%, and 3 students at level 2 (informal deduction) with a percentage of 8.33%. Furthermore, students at each level of van Hiele's thinking were taken as representatives of each of the 2 subjects to carry out a problem-solving ability test. Based on the results of the research on the problem-solving abilities of students based on the Polya problem-solving stage, students who are at level 0 can understand the problem but have not been able to carry out the other Polya-solving stages. Students at level 1 can understand the problem and develop a settlement plan but have not been able to carry out the other stages of Polya solving. Students at the level can understand the problem, develop a settlement plan, and carry out a settlement plan but have not been able to re-examine. It shows that the higher the van Hiele thinking level of the students, the better their problem-solving abilities will be.
Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang memiliki peranan penting dalam upaya penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Namun dalam proses pembelajaran matematika disekolah, rendahnya keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas, dan kebiasaan siswa yang tidak baik dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan perilaku belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Sembalun Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Jenis penelitian ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas VIII dengan jumlah 45 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling dimana seluruh populasi menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 47 ; (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan perilaku belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar ; (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan perilaku belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar dan sumbangan efektif masing-masing variabel berturut-turut dan %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan perilaku belajar baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.
