Plastic waste have been a problem for the sustainability of tourism, especially Bali. Efforts to reduce plastic waste have been carried out by the government, such as the issuance of Denpasar Mayor Regulation Number 36 of 2018 and then followed by Bali Governor Regulation Number 97 of 2018. This paper aims to find out the opinions and changes in behavior of Balinese people, especially in Denpasar City after the enactment of the Denpasar Mayor Regulation and the Bali Governor Regulation about plastic waste. Data collection carried out through questionnaires distributed to tourists, students (tourism department), traders, the general public, and Lecturer. The result is everyone is aware of the government regulation on limiting single-use plastic bags, but some residents only know about the existence of government regulations without knowing where the regulations came from. Most of the people agree with the policy, but there are also people who disagree because the use of plastic bags is more efficient, however. This policy has led people to cultivate bringing their shopping bags.
This study aims to determine the impact of tourism on water pollution in Lake Batur. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The samples taken include 5 points on Lake Batur which represent tourism locations on Lake Batur, namely the pier, restaurants, tourist attractions in Terunyan Village, hot spring attractions and the middle of the lake. Collecting data using observation methods, laboratory test methods and documentation studies. The research begins with direct observation to 3 key informants who can represent the condition of tourism in Lake Batur, namely the surrounding community, business and visitors. Furthermore, water sampling in Lake Batur and continued with laboratory testing for parameters of pH, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), oil and fat. Next is a documentation study on the situation and condition of Lake Batur and the last is collecting secondary data as supporting data. Furthermore, the data were analyzed de qualitatively to determine the impact of tourism potential on the water quality of Lake Batur. Based on the results of laboratory testing, Lake Batur is polluted in the restaurant and pier area. The restaurant area is characterized by high BOD parameters, while the pier area is characterized by high COD parameters. Based on this, it can be seen that tourism has an impact on increasing the value of pollutants in the waters of Lake Batur.
This study aims to test the effect of work stress on employee performance, the effect of the work environment on employee performance, and the effect of work stress and work environment on employee performance at Equilibria Hotel Seminyak, Based on the results of tests conducted known F test results obtained Fhitung of 24,307 with a significance value of 0.000< 0.05 H0 rejected and Ha accepted, the results of t-variable work stress get a result of thitung 2,203 and a significance value of 0.033<0.05 so that it can be said H0 rejected and Ha accepted. While the t-test of the working environment variable obtained a thitung value of 2.986 with a significance value of 0.004<0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The work environment variable is the most dominant variable or the most variable in influencing employee performance at Equilibria Hotel Seminyak.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of tourism on the water quality of Lake Beratan based on BOD and COD parameters. This research method uses descriptive quantitative through environmental analysis. Lake Beratan water sampling was taken at 3 points, point 1 representing settlements and agriculture, point 2 representing the middle of the lake, and point 3 representing tourist areas. The data obtained was compared with the Class 1 Lake Water Quality Standards, Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021. The results showed that the BOD parameters still met the quality standards, so there were not too many organic pollutants in Lake Beratan. While the COD parameter exceeds the quality standard at all points. This shows that chemical pollutants originating from domestic activities around Lake Beratan such as agriculture using fertilizers and pesticides as well as tourism activities such as restaurants cause an increase in the COD value.
