A utilização da Realidade Aumentada (RA) vem sendo cada vez mais ampliada na educação. Ela pode colaborar com a atividade docente e despertar o interesse dos alunos, estimulando o processo de aprendizagem. As funções disponíveis nos aplicativos educacionais de RA permitem ao aluno uma visão interativa de conceitos e fenômenos estudados. Por exemplo, na Química, os aplicativos moleculares virtualizam superfícies planas em tridimensionais, facilitando o entendimento espacial dos compostos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar aplicativos de Realidade Aumentada e suas possíveis contribuições ao ensino de Química. A pesquisa foi realizada com graduandos de um curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas. Foram cinco etapas metodológicas: Pesquisa dos aplicativos de RA; Testes e escolha dos aplicativos; Oficina de RA para o ensino de Química; Questionário de avaliação dos aplicativos; Análise dos dados. Verificou-se que a maioria dos estudantes não conheciam previamente os aplicativos e seu uso na educação. Percebeu-se que os aplicativos de RA podem impulsionar o aprendizado e a compreensão de Química, proporcionando aulas mais atrativas e participativas. Ademais, acredita-se que a tecnologia de RA pode ser mais bem explorada e utilizada para fins educacionais.
