Pain in a baby is difficult to detect is because the method for detecting pain is self-reporting even though babies themselves still cannot describe the pain verbally, then by observing changes in behavior in the form of facial expressions. Statistically, it is also recorded that about 80% of the world's population pays less attention to pain assessment, especially for children, even though this pain gives children a bad experience so that it can interfere with pain responses in the future or psychological trauma. Based on these problems, a prototype system was made using the NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer kit to help detect pain, especially in infants 0-12 months by using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model with the PyTorch framework and the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm with three detection classification is sad, neutral and sick. From the results of the study, it was found that the YOLO algorithm was able to detect the three classifications with a sad mAP value of 77.8%, neutral 76.7%, in pain 68.9%. With a precision value of 71.4%, recall 62.5% and f1-score 66.6%. The average value of Confidence is 53.57%.
Introduction: The number of child sexual abuse cases in Indonesia are still high, including in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatera. One of the preventive effort that can be practiced is teaching them about children self-protection knowledge from sexual abuse through sexual education using appropriate methods and media, such as watching animated video and dreall healthy. The aim of this research was to determine difference in dreall healthy and animated video about sexual education toward children self-protection knowledge from sexual abuse. Methods: This research was a quantitative study and use quasi experiment design with pretest-postest group. Samples in this research were 40 children in dreall healthy group and 37 children in the animated video group, the samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using questionnaire and data analysis was using paired t test and independent t test. Results: This research showed that there was difference in children self-protection knowledge from sexual abuse before and after sexual education with dreall healthy and animated video with p value 0.000 (α ≤0.05) and there was difference in children self-protection knowledge from sexual abuse between dreall healthy and animated video with p value 0.014 (α ≤0.05).Conclusion: Sexual education with dreall healthy is more effective to increase children self-protection knowledge because it can stimulate the children’s brain nerves so that their memory could be better. It was expected that parents, public health center staffs, and counselor in schools be able to provide sexual education as early as possible to the children.
This study compared the scale of infant pain during vaccinated injection using conductance skin electric (Skin Conductance), the Wong-Baker Faces Scale (WBFS) instrument, and Face Leg Activity Cry and Consolability (FLACC) instruments. It was observational cohort study with pre-experimental design using vaccinated injection as pain stimuli. This study investigated 121 infants (59 boys, 62 girls), age/PNA 4.37 ± 2.97 months, and current body weight 6522 ± 1378.65 grams). Most infants had adequate birth weight 71 (89.9%) about 2985.74 ± 405.83 kg and mature infants as 67 (84.4%), about 38,52 ± 2,09 weeks. Pain measurement of all three instruments was do simultaneously using a developed Skin Conductance (SC) apparatus and video recording (to assess behaviour and face). WBFS, FLACC and SC have the same significance in measuring infants’ pain scale during vaccination injection. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference in the three pain measurement instruments between before and during injection with a p value of <0.001. So that SC can be recommended for pain measurement.
Abstract-Maternal health still become problem in Indonesia. Indonesia Health Demographic Survey found that postpartum visit in South Sumatera about 78%, exclusive breastfeeding 38%, and Early Latch on 29 %, all of them are under national average. Lack of knowledge and mother's attitude about maternal health associated with early detection of health problems during pregnancy, and childbirth. The study objective was to examine the influence of "DulMuluk Traditional Theatre" in increasing knowledge and attitudes of pregnant mothers about maternal health. The study design methodology was quasi-experimental design. The population was all pregnant women in Pemulutan and South Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera. The sample size was 50 pregnant mothers for intervention group and 50 pregnant women in the control group. In control group, the sample did not get the intervention of DulMuluk Theatre while in intervention group, the sample got "DulMuluk Traditional Theatre" that contained maternal health information. Data was analyzed using t test. The result showed that there were no significant differences in age, education, occupation, socioeconomic status and parity in both control and intervention group. Statistically, there was significant difference on the average score of knowledge at before and after the intervention both in the group with DulMuluk Traditional Theatre (p-value 0.0048) and increased an average score of attitude (p-value 0,01). The conclusion was that knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women after the intervention of DulMuluk Traditional Theatre that contained health education was increasing. It is suggested that DulMuluk Traditional Theatre could be implemented as an arts that could educate the public by including more health messages in daily life.
