Colombo High School is an educational institution in charge of handling activities related to education. As an educational institution at present the 2013 curriculum report data management still uses Microsoft Excel applications with the step of the subject teacher submitting the file value to the homeroom teacher and the homeroom teacher will process the value data and submit it to the curriculum section for printing. Of course this requires a long time and is not effective. Another problem that arises is that the current process is perceived to be less optimal and efficient, the guardian of the student must go to the school every semester which requires a lot of time for the guardians of students who cannot attend the division of the Colombo High School students' achievement report and the report can only be seen at a certain time. This research was designed and built using the CodeIgniter framework and uses a MySQL database as well as the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method of the waterfall model which can help the school, namely teachers, homerooms and curriculum parts in terms of report card management and for learners.
A geographical name is a name that identify specific feature on the earth. That features could be a settlement, administrative region, natural feature, artificial feature, unbounded region, or virtual region. Under the Law Number 4 of 2011 concerning Geospatial Information, the geographical name is one of the layer that must appear on the base map. The acquisition of geographical names can be facilitated by crowdsourcing map that are conducted by corporations or the public. The objectives of this study are 1) to carry out an inventory of geographic names through crowdsourced maps, and 2) to examine the opportunities and challenges of the study of geographic names in rural areas. We observed data from crowdsourcing maps, e.g., Google Maps, Here Maps, and OpenStreetMaps that cover Giripurwo Village. We used spatial comparison in this research. We also compared its appearances on various mapping scales. A field survey was conducted to get more qualitative information about geographical names and to test the accuracy of maps. The results showed that there were differences between the crowdsource map services in presenting the geographical names at the same scale level. We face constraints in this mapping, i.e. limited accessibility in the entire region and sparsely populated in a karst region. Conversely, the high participation of rural communities is beneficial in this mapping process.
At present the laboratories in Colombo Yogyakarta High School have been utilized to the maximum but in the management process they are still using conventional methods and data that are not integrated either relating to administration of the laboratory, recording laboratory assets, scheduling and valuation. Recording that occurs at this time is done by using Microsoft Excel and only limited to be recorded without any synchronization and socialization to the teachers - so that it causes the use of laboratory space which is often a collision scheduling. The recording of laboratory assets is not neatly arranged so that the monitoring of assets both maintenance, replacement and repair of equipment is not well documented. This research implements the Total Architecture Synthesis (TAS) method. The total architecture synthesis method functions to determine the needs and design of business process architecture and system architecture.
