Parotid gland involvement is extremely rare, even in countries in which tuberculosis is endemic. Clinically, it usually presents as a slow-growing mass indistinguishable from a malignancy. On imaging too, tuberculosis of the parotid may mimic neoplasm. The diagnosis of parotid tuberculosis needs a high degree of clinical suspicion. This paper highlights the clinical presentation, imaging findings, and importance of FNAC in diagnosis of this rare entity.
Fingerprint authentication is one of the most reliable and widely used personal identification method. However, manual fingerprint authentication is tedious, inaccurate, time-consuming and costly that it is not capable of meeting today's increasing performance necessities. An automatic fingerprint authentication system (AFAS) is widely needed. It plays a very essential role in forensic and civilian applications such as criminal identification, access control, and ATM card verification. This paper describes the design and implementation of an Embedded Fingerprint Authentication system which operates in two stages: minutia extraction and minutia matching. The present technological era is demanding reliable and cost-effective personal authentication systems for a large number of daily use applications where security and privacy performance of the information is required. Biometrics authentication techniques in combination with embedded systems technologies give a demanding solution to this need. This paper explains the hardware-software co-design responsible for matching two fingerprint minutiae sets and suggests the use of reconfigurable architectures for Automatic Fingerprint Authentication System. Moreover, this paper explains the implementation of a fingerprint algorithm using a Spartan-6 FPGA, as an appropriate portable and low cost device. The experimental results show that system meets the response time requirements of Automatic Fingerprint Authentication System with high speed using hardware-software co-design.
Abstract-Queuing theory is an important concept in current internet technology. As the requirement of bandwidth goes on increasing it is necessary to use optical communication for transfer of data. Optical communication at backbone network requires various devices for traffic grooming. The cost of these devices is very high which leads to increase in the cost of network. One of the solutions to this problem is to have sparse traffic grooming in optical WDM mesh network. Sparse traffic grooming allows only few nodes in the network as grooming node (G-node). These G-nodes has the grooming capability and other nodes are simple nodes where traffic grooming is not possible. The grooming nodes are the special nodes which has high cost. The possibility of faults at such a node, or link failure is high. Resolving such faults and providing efficient network is very important. So we have importance of such survivable sparse traffic grooming network.Queuing theory helps to improve the result of network and groom the traffic in the network. The paper focuses on the improvement in performance of the backbone network and reduction in blocking probability. To achieve the goals of the work we have simulated the model. The main contribution is to use survivability on the sparse grooming network and use of combiner queues at each node. It has observed that Combiner queuing alone does the job of minimizing blocking probability and balancing the load over the network. The model is not only cost effective but also increases the performance of network and minimizes the call blocking probability.
To issue driving license is a very tedious task for the government to monitor. While driving, it is very difficult task to carry all documents which required for driving purpose. Ecupboard is RTO document checking using fingerprint authentication web based system. Our system has User (requesting driving license) login, admin login and Traffic police login type. To check documents traffic police will take fingerprint, ADHAR card number as input. It will open profile of user which include issued document list. The list have document list which can be viewed by traffic police. If driver doesn't have valid document then automatically fine/penalty will be generated according to rules. On the other side RTO office have all digital document which have stored in centralized database. If person wants to generate his license then he should submit all required information, document and fingerprint on E-cupboard System. Then E-cupboard System issue digitalized license and digital image of fingerprint which is stored in centralized database. Same process is used to generate smart card and RC book.
Traffic Grooming has become a very important issue on optical Network, as optical networks provide a very high speed data transmission for huge amount of data. A Sparse grooming Network with only a fractional of nodes having grooming functionalities may achieve the same performance as the one in which all the nodes are grooming, but with much lower cost. In literature different algorithms, models and techniques have been proposed to design the sparse grooming networks. With Proper assignment of routing and wavelengths in the network reduces the blocking probability ultimately increases the bandwidth of the network. In this paper, we studied and analyzed the different sparse traffic grooming and RWA assignment strategies with its performance metrics for optical mesh networks.
