Background: Harlequin ichthyosis is an uncommon, extreme type of skin issue related with gigantic thickening of skin over whole body. The primary case was accounted for in 1750 by Reverend Oliver Hart. The general occurrence is 1 out of 300,000 births. Around 200 cases have been accounted for all through the world. In 1984, a newborn child with this issue was brought into the world in Pakistan and the child lived till 2008. One more such birth was recorded in the USA in 1994. As of late, one case was accounted for in June 2016 at Nagpur, India. A Harlequin child was brought into the world to a youthful couple in Lata Mangeshkar Hospital. Objectives: To assess the existing knowledge regarding Harlequin Ichthyosis among P.B.Bsc nursing students. To assess the effectiveness of planned teaching on knowledge regarding Harlequin Ichthyosis among P.B.Bsc nursing students. To associate the post-test knowledge regarding Harlequin Ichthyosis among P.B.Bsc nursing students with selected demographic variables. Materials and Methods: A one group pre-test and post-test research design study will undertaken to assess the effectiveness of planned teaching on knowledge regarding harlequin ichthyosis among P.B.B.Sc nursing students of selected colleges. Expected Results: There will be significant association between pre-test and post-test knowledge regarding Harlequin ichthyosis among P.B.Bsc nursing students.
Background: In full term newborns, the Ductus arteriosus closes functionally within of birth, and it normally closes structurally between 2 to 8 weeks. Complete conclusion of the ductus in untimely babies may not happen until a half year old enough, and in exceptional cases may not happen until adulthood. Is medical term that afterwards birth, the ductus arteriosus fails to close, allowing oxygenated blood to travel back to the lungs from the left heart Changed Word Structural Changes Thesaurus via the pulmonary artery, which has a higher pressure. Increased laboured breathing and failure to gain weight at a normal rate are frequent later in the first year of life. A patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) can lead to pulmonary hypertension and right-sided heart failure if left untreated. Case Report Information: A 2 years 6 months old child brought by the parents in Aacharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital on 22/12/2020. An patients parent’s verbalization, the child was apparently alright at 8 months of age. When he started having fever, cold and cough and decreased feed intake. Then they took the child to local doctor where 2D ECHO was done. Suggestive of patent ductus arteriosus. Patient is referred to Aacharya Vinoba Bhave hospital for further management. Conclusion: The patient was admitted in AVBRH with complaints of fever, cold and cough, decreased feed intake. Then the report mainly focused on surgical management and quality nursing care due to which patient was discharged without any further complication and satisfaction.
Introduction: Hirschsprung's disease is the most common cause of large intestinal obstructing in neonates. Hirschsprung's disease is a congenital anomaly caused by migratory failure of neural crest cells leading to abnormal innervations of the bowel .The defect begins in the internal and sphincter and extends proximally for a variable length of gut. Hirschprung's disease is a disorder of the gut caused due to congenital absence of ganglion cells in the sub-mucosal and myenteric plexus of intestine. This disease is also known as megacolon or congenital Aganglionic megacolon. Case presentation: A 2 years old male child, known case of Hirschprung’s disease, was brought to AVBRH for further management. As narrated by the mother, the child was not passing stool since birth. There was no history of abdominal distention, vomiting or fever. The child pass the stool with the help of enema which was given to the child in the morning and evening. Mast. Devansh has past history of NICU stay. In View of not passing stools, USG of abdomen and pelvis done. Endorectal pull through surgery was done on 4/02/2021 under general anesthesia. No any past surgical history. There is a past history of rectal biopsy done in 1 1/2 month of age. Conclusion:The patient was admitted in AVBRH for further management. Then the report mainly focused on surgical management and quality nursing care due to which patient was discharged without any further complication and satisfaction.
Background: The improvement of preterm youngster have shown that helpless social/intuitive abilities, poor conduct and passionate self-guideline, enthusiastic troubles, and decreased consideration are the most well-known conduct issues in preterm babies and kids. The fathers were faced with a significant burden, yet they did not express themselves, even in tough situations, and instead relied on self-comfort to make decisions free of emotion. Premature infants are at greater risk for cerebral palsy, delays in development, hearing problems and problems with their vision. The earlier a baby is born, the greater these risks will be. Premature newborns have many physiologic challenges when adapting to the extrauterine environment. Objectives: Parents experiences of fathers of premature born-children. To associate the parents experience of fathers with selected demographic variables. Materials and Methods: The study will based on phenomenal research approach with focused group design. The study will be conducted on different hospitals of Wardha city. In this study total sample no is 40 fathers who fulfill the inclusion criteria will be selected. Expected Results: This study planned the parents’ experiences among fathers of premature born children. Hence it is expected to have their own experiences as fathers.
